Game was very cool, but then after hearing "spy-among us" my pc crashed and I had to restart it. This is a work of art and gets a 10/2.

If I were to describe SFM in 3 words they would be Fantastic Outdated FUN! It's a GREAT animation software and fantastic looking animation can come out of it when it's used right.

OKAY in all seriousness, This game is probably my favorite free-to-play game out there. Let's start with the graphics.

-Graphics
It has a great silhouette based art style. The models may be from 2007, but they still hold up great today. Even if you are new to the game, you can still easily tell which class someone is, and which team they are on. MOST of the maps in this game are done well too, I liked how each team's base were made up of materials that where naturally warm or cool colors (depending on which base you're looking at), rather than having each teams base be made up of the same recolored material.

-Gameplay
The game play in this game is smooth and easy to understand, and as unrealistic this games physics or logic can be, it still seems to make sense in a way. If a soldier were to rocket jump, or a demoman were to sticky jump, how high they go and how far they go seems to make sense..even though in real life you would just explode into pieces. Any movement in this game feels fair, and balanced. For example, when a character switches direction, it takes time to do so similar to real life, instead of having the characters instantly snap in that direction. Of course this game involves shooting too, not just moving. Shooting and hitting targets in this game is rewarding and satisfying....when using a hit or miss weapon. Weapons like heavy's mini-gun or pyro's stock flamethrower don't feel nearly as rewarding when you hit a player. It's only rewarding when you kill someone with those weapons.

-Sound
Although Team Fortress 2 doesn't have music playing as often as other games, there are some good things to say about this games OTHER sounds. The gun's shooting noises all seem great, and fit the weapons they are used for perfectly, and the character voice lines occasionally heard give each character loads of personality. But the thing I want to talk about the most is tf2's ambience noises. It doesn't matter what part of the map you are on, you will always here some type of noise in the back round that usually fits the area perfectly. When playing the map 2fort, in the intelligence room, you can here a fan like noise in the back round. I think this goes along with the way the area looks great. When you are not inside and you are outside, you can here the sound of wind in the back round. Which once again goes along with the area great.

-VAC System (Valve Anti Cheat)

In full honesty, I think the VAC system in Team Fortress 2 is horrible when compared to other Valve game's VAC systems. It rarely detects the hackers in a server. Most of the time, the real players in the server can handle the amount of hackers and kick them all, but sometimes servers are packed with hackers and any real players on that server cannot play the game.

-Overall Ranking

I would give Team Fortress 2 a 9/10. This game is worth a download, if you are worried about the bots. There are plenty of community servers that work like regular casual and have no bots...the only downside to this is that your casual rank will never go up. BUT THERE IS STILL ONE QUESTION LEFT.....Did I really pay for this game in toothpicks?

I would recommend this game to others, it is a fun game to either mess around in, make things in, or pose ragdolls for pictures or animations in. If you get bored of what comes with Garry's Mod, you can find almost anything on the Garry's Mod Workshop.
