2337 hours and climbing. I love this game. It's the most fun survival game out there.

I'm running a 660 TI with loads of RAM and the game runs fine for me on medium to low settings. The only time I have trouble is if the server increases the number of dino spawns to an insane amount.

I have an I5 4670k and I'm running a 660 ti gpu. The first time that I loaded into a game, there was HORRIBLE lag. As in whole system shock every second or two. But, it soon passed and I haven't had any issues since. As for performance, my fps stays around 40 all the time. 80 when up in the air during prematch.

I have played the SotF mod since it was first released and now, I'm playing the standalone. The standalone is a great improvement. It's hard to compare this game to other battle royale style games because the dinos and special events that happen during a match make it a very different experience from something like H1Z1 or The Culling. There's also the stat leveling aspect too. For instance, as your character levels up by crafting or combat, you can raise certain stats such as health or stamina and also do the same thing with your tamed dinosaurs as they themselves level. I would say that SotF is a deeper experience. Whether or not it is more fun is up to you, but it's free so you should definitely try it out. Right now it has free for all, duo, 4 man, and 6 man team matches.
