It looks good and plays well but there is a handful of levels and some of them are not well tested (despite a game being ridiculously short and levels being rather easy). Just look at my screenshots below, I completed 2 last levels completely bypassing ENTIRE level's obstacles - simply by drawing 2 planks from starting point to target cube.

Spoilers ahead! (click below)

second to the last level.
the last level.

You could have at least added a steam workshop to the game to make custom levels. That alone would have added a significant worth to the game.

Inferior "World of Goo" knockoff.
Original is better gameplay-wise and is more appealing - play that if interested, it's a famous casual game.

Somewhat cheap, simple and casual but ok as a family friendly "adventure" platformer.

The "puzles" are there but they are very simple, and are more like just for an action.
If you are looking for a family friendly puzzle game you will like Toki Tori more.

IMO needs badly:
* Option to invert mouse control.
* Gamepad support. Not sure about the rest of you but for me the current control with a mouse felt very uncomfortable and just kind of annoying. I will not be playing this.

TLDR: Clash Royale + PC = F2P crap in high resolution -> yeah, dont bother.

In short: The gameplay mechanics are good - which is kinda like the tower defense and a card game blend,.. BUT the F2P model ruins everything that the game offers.
F2P model? for what,.. for a f***ing card game?!

The games price and F2P
Right now the game is in Early Access and its description says “Minion Masters will be free-to-play in the future"...
But that is regarding the price (right now you have to buy a game for 19,99€ witch is so called "Minion Masters+Premium Upgrade"), but the gameplay already IS free-to-play right now. And you can already see how it ruins the game.

The game mechanics
* There are "Minion Masters" - the one you see on top of each tower in the screenshots, they each have different passive attacks and some buffs. Each one will requere different tactics for you to use.
* You activate the cards during the game - it executes a specific attack at the opponent. Each card uses different tactic and needs different amount of time to get ready for use. (and different amount of money / time to unlock just to use it. The same as with minion masters of course. You think you will be good as a Mordar? He costs 1500 blue crystals and 775 rubies, you buy rubies in the shop of course... )

Grind and a paywall examples
Look... there are plenty of cards and different Minion Masters for many ways to fight BUT it is all not accessible to you. For about first 1 - 20/25 "levels" (which is how many hours you have played) you will unlock cards automatically, but they will noticebly stop unlocking at some point (after level 25 for me) and the most powerful ones you HAVE to grind for. How much? The most powerful cards (Colosus, Ghost,...) cost 2000 blue crystals -> when you have 1000 gold (you get 4-15 gold after each match) ...you can buy a "token" at the shop, so you can roll a random chance of card drop, which you can later scrap for about 50 - (maybe 200 if today is your birthday) blue crystals, depending on how rare the card you have dropped.
As a side note: I have ~30 hours playtime and I STILL cant craft not a single 2000 card. Dont forget that you WILL have to craft "average" cards too. The ones that you will PROBABLY be good with. Yes you can scrap them later and recraft - but you will lose crystals in the process that way.
And of course you can buy tokens at the shop. So you can,.. you know... roll a random chance to drop something you can/need to use during matches. Or just scrap it for 50 blue crystals.
The point is you will have to play for DOZENS of hours JUST to get the basic setup. And to get the most powerful cards? I have no idea. For 100+ something hours, I guess. Faster if you pay. You have buy/grind minion masters too. But some of them are sometimes available for free thru "free week" or something. How generous.

Community now and in the future
It's not uncommon to rotate thru specific players when you play for 10+ matches.
At the end of the december there was ~5 people talking in the global chat. The most activity I have ever seen. Not many people are playing this IMO.
Because I couldn't find anyone english speaking to play with a couple days later.
Good thing is it will be fixed when the game becomes F2P.
There will be plenty of 12 year old kids to have a match with you.

At least the community is good right now.

+ Looks fairly good.
- The game is rather bland, and simple.
- Playing with a Xbox 360 gamepad is a nightmare, - expect to use keyboard and a mouse.
(my generic Direct Input gamepad was recognized but not working properly - the right stick was incorrectly interpreted - the top of the tank was constantly turning to the left).

I got it for 1 buck on sale, and maybe you can too at some point later, but I can't imagine myself playing it.
The game appears to be made by 1 person and he did a great job, if you take into account the amount of work that had to be done, but this game just can't hold my interest.

Finished the game. Enjoyed it.
It took me ~135 hours to complete the game - with me talking to every NPC and completing almost each main/side quests (I missed maybe 3-5 of them). I often even reloaded and replayed many parts just to see a different outcome/dialog. Brewing potions like no tomorrow. Reading each book on the shelf, etc. You get the point.

+ it's just a good 3D RPG game:
* The story is great. The quests are well thought out. they have some details, and characters interact with each other thru the story.
* You can feel character behind characters (IMHO if NPCs in skyrim feel like talking wikipedias to you, you will clearly like Witcher series world more)
* You can import your save over to a Witcher 2. Nice!

- the facial animations in cutscenes are poorly done. Im guessing they had some technical limitations with this. But still, it's well served in-game as you will not get annoyed by it (I didn't at least.)
- the combat system many/some find somewhat annoying. -> Supposedly this was improved in Witcher 2. Cant comment on this yet.
- non existent sex scenes - their execution is very symbolic in the game: The screen quickly fades out and you get a erotic card with that girl on it. Yay!
- some lack of the video settings. I would like to turn on V-sync - why no option for it?
- some bugs here and there. And I don't mean Kikimore Workers. At some points you will see some annoying things: white glowing on everyones faces / maybe stuttering cutsenes / ... many people experience different glitches - just go over to discussion section and see for yourself. Results vary.
- some "lazyness" on devs side:
* some reused models - yes, there will allways be a limited set of models in a game, but as you start a game there will be some memoriable characters, but later as you progress you will encounter common characters that look exactly like them. Yes, NPCs models are smartly placed all over the world, but it's still there. You WILL have to turn on floating text "a name" which shows names of each NPC / or other objects. (You can see them temporarily by holding ALT or enable permamently in the settings). So that you can actually see which NPC is Barbara or whatever and which one is just a common passerby.
* minor inventory annoyances/limitations: like not being able to put stuff inside a chest/closet/box: you just read a book and want to put it from your inventory back to a shelf? - well you can't - you have to just drop it on the ground and walk away like a d0uchebag.

side notes:
when you are very drunk:
it's faster to walk sideways.

about game's CD-key:
you can redeem a free copy of witcher 1 on gog.com:
* Right click on The witcher 1 in your steam, and click "View CD-Key...". Copy it.
* Log in to your gog.com account and go to link
https://www.gog.com/witcher/backup
and paste your key there.
* done. You redeemed your free, no DRM witcher 1 copy on gog.
My point is: that's the only purpose of the CD-key. You do NOT need to activate the game with a CD-key as the steam will keep saying to you when you first start a game.

There are additional quest-games (from the main menu -> "New game" ) but you might want to watch them on youtube. As IMHO they are way too grindy, and gameplay wise are not worth it.

it represents me standing in a half empty server surrounded by 12 year olds.
