This one is definitely much more fleshed out than Episode One, The gameplay feels fresh with the introduction of a couple new mechanics and playstyle, I really enjoyed the slower, more careful approach you have to take this time.

The plot once again is a bit convoluted, but more enjoyable and easy to understand than Bioshock Infinite. I think it's a really good way of "tying a bow" to the whole Bioshock story.

Definitely recommended!

I played this one right after finishing Bioshock Infinite. It's enjoyable, and as stated by so many other reviews, is a must if you enjoyed Bioshock 1. It's on the short side and it feels a bit rushed, but I understand the intention to invite the player to check the 2nd episode (Burial at Sea - Episode Two).

Not much else to say about it. Is not awesome, but definitely recommended!

As expected, I already played Bioshock and Bioshock 2 (both the remastered versions)... Bioshock Infinite is definitely an improvement in pretty much all aspects. The most impressive aspect of it is the Elizabeth NPC character, that is truly the highlight of the gameplay.

And that's the thing I most liked about Bioshock Infinite, Elizabeth... Is not as "revolutionary" as Alyx Vance in Half-Life 2, but it's still a truly enjoyable character/"sidekick". After that, I would say the world design is gorgeous!

The thing I disliked the most... The plot!... I mean, It's interesting, but it was unnecessarily convoluted. The way is presented to the player is annoyingly obtuse and to be honest, I didn't really understood the "twist" until I saw a playthrough from Cynthetic (Youtuber). The plot is good and original, but the presentation/development was a miss.

One thing I really liked about this game compared to Bioshock 2 is the stability. Granted, I'm playing this game 2 or 3 years after I played Bioshock 2 (both in Linux), so game compatibility should have improved a ton, but still, not one single crash or bug, while in Bioshock 2 (remastered) I had about 50 game crashes during the entire playthrough.

I played it on Linux through Proton, but judging by the other reviews, is not a Linux problem what I'm about to say...

I don't know what to say about this game... Gameplay wise, is much, much better than Bioshock 1. I didn't like Bioshock 1 that much, but this one is way better... BUT... During my ~22h playthrough, I experienced no less than 50 crashes!... In one occasion I even lost about 1h of progress because a couple of saves got corrupted in one of the crashes. It was waaay too frustrating and difficult to enjoy this game because of this... It's a shame, but I can't really recommend a game with such a deplorable quality.

First of all, I played it on Linux through Proton and I have to say that even when my PC is rather slow for today's standards, Bioshock ran fairly smooth without any bug. I only had one freeze/crash throughout the whole game and I can't say that it was really the game. At the time my PC was very low on RAM and recording my gameplay, so it could be just all those things messing with the game.

The game itself is good. I had a good time playing it, the art, design and style of the game is by far the best thing of it! I haven't played a whole lot of games in my life, but I've played enough to say that this is the game with the most careful and consistent design I've played!

Sadly, that's the best part of it. The story is a bit derivative or predictable, the way they tell it is borderline annoying. I HATED the constant audio tapes and radio communication. That's the only real interaction you have with other characters throughout the whole game (except near the end, where you barely interact with a couple of NPCs following them)… I didn't really know how much these type of games need NPCs until I played this game.

Overall, I still recommend this game. Is not bad... it's very good, actually... You just have to be mindful of the low budget the developers had when they created the game back in 2007.

This is the best mix of pixel-art style + platformer + stealth game I can recommend!... A bit on the short side, but very, very fun to play, great dark humor, a parody of film noir genre of storytelling... Really fun experience.

The good:
* Really funny.
* It challenges you intellectually and reflexes, without being unfair.
* It gives you a sense of "I decide what happens in the story".
* It let's you replay missions in case you want to do things differently.

The bad:
* A bit too short.
* In-game replay menus are awkward and sometimes hard to read.
