I know i'm late to the party but good lord what a terrible lack of quality compared to previous CnC titles. Only motivation to buy this was the Generals Evolution mod but for the moment I think i'd rather have my 30 bucks back.

Pros:
- Extremely satisfying gameplay
- Building a factory from the ground up using automation and trying to find new ways to exploit your own system is euphoric
- Tons of interesting combinations of machines to give you a beautiful work of art that continues to evolve as you play
- Combat is gratifying and straight-forward - evolves in difficulty over time and also quite satisfying - adding the icing on the factory-building cake
- Play with tons friends in multiplayer (apparently the deelopers have plans for 65k player games?), working together is both fun, rewarding and almost entirely crucial as your factory can get quite large - most crafting games almost encourage you to compete and work against each other for land and resources but for some reason Factorio does it just right
- Game never ceases to satisfy - I'm only writing this review because I can't physically play it right now :(
- Modding support
- Smooth, seemingly bug-free gameplay

Cons:
- What cons?

Factorio is perfect. I don't usually say this but this game hits every note perfectly. It's innovative, deep, rewarding, action-packed and yet at the end of the day it's incredibly satisfying. Fans of games like minecraft (particularly with mods like Tekkit) will pour their lifespan into this game easily. It's sometimes difficult to sleep because all you can think about is how you're going to optimize your factory and make it somehow more ridiculously awesome!

If you're on the fence with this game, stop thinking about it and buy this game already! Seriously what are you waiting for? Stop reading this and go!

Pros:
- Great animations, movement feels fluid and fast
- A Fun and flashy co-op experience (up to 4 players and 8 for raids)
- Tons of weapons (yes, by now it's just getting gratuitous)
- Unique system of modding weapons and warframe abilities, lots of combinations
- Passable PVP, fun yet unfortunately still not as popular as it could be
- Enjoyable PVE, lots of missions that are rewarding and enjoyable to blast through
- Rewarding end-game with enhanced prime warframes and weapons that keep you playing for a long period of time
- Fun and unique community events with exciting rewards such as cosmetics or weapons that ae entirely new and exclusive to the event
- Forma system which allows you to reset your weapon/warframe's level when at max rank (level 30) to grant the user a polarity slot so that you can fit more mods on your gear, keeps the game fresh and extends shelf-life
- Deep and well-written lore keeps the hope of new and exciting experiences alive as the game's story continues to unfold with new content

Cons:

- Super grindy! If you don't enjoy games that can get repetitive and dull after a time this game may only be worth a couple hundred hours to you
- End game equipment can be extremely frustrating to obtain, new items have dramtically decreased drop chances to keep you shackled to running the same level over and over again
- Questing is less than immersive, great voice actors, terrible lines. Only now are quest driven cutscenes being implemented into the game, even though it shows potential the questing is still sometimes dry and boring
- Irritating characters, namely Ordis, your ship's AI who's dry wit and poorly timed repetitive dialogue merritted the developers patching in a volume slider just for him. Boss dialogue is more goofy than threatening, again also repetitive.
- Game is heavily loot based which requires a hefty time commitment in order to obtain and progress smoothly, even though it's not required some players (such as myself) well develop an obsession for collecting all the weapons or warframes in the game where as if you're just starting now you will have missed some content that may have been phased out or only set to appear during the occassional event.

Ultimately Warframe is a fantastic example of a highly innovated MMO third-person shooter. It's essentially Destiny for the PC with more or less bells and whistles. You can't beat FREE and it's very easy to get hooked on the combat and visuals which are all very attractive to behold. Unfortunately after dumping over a thousand hours into this time-sync of a game, you'll probably start to feel really burned out. The repetitive events which are (at my level) not challenging and more of a chore, the cheesy voice-acting and quest objectives, again a chore, running the same level over and over again for a chance at getting a piece of an item that you want to build, literally a chore; at the end of the day it really leaves you wanting more or at least more depth to keep things fresh and exciting. The developers have put a wealth of time and effort into making this game continually exciting for their players but sometimes you'll find yourself coming back to the game just to pick up that one weapon or to blow through that two-week long event in about 2 hours and then go back to doing whatever it is you were playing before. Again if you're new, or if you enjoy games that require repetition and grinding for long periods of time, this is definitely a game that won't disappoint you or your inner hoarder.

Pros:
- Innovative gameplay with random starting locations keeping the game fresh and appealing in the long term
- Dynamic destruction makes for interesting strategic advantages
- Placeable barricades and utility equipment adds another layer of strategic depth
- Classes are customizable to a fair degree, gives each operator a distinct edge with a vaiety of weapons and gadgets
- Lots of ways to defend and attack an objective
- Fragging enemies is satisfying and rewarding
- Persistence using stats, ranks and renown to buy upgrades and operators keeps players enticed

Cons:
- Hefty price tag (currently $79.99 CDN)
- Matchmaking makes it sometimes very frustrating to find games
- Tick rate in servers are low enough to make a noticeable difference when engaging targets (may take more rounds than necessary to frag someone, or you may notice that you get killed shortly after entering cover, or that you emptied a mag into a person only to find yourself getting killed in the process)
- Bullet Spongey opponents (especially players using Rook and his armour hand-out)
- Sometimes more wait-time than play-time (waiting for rounds to start, set-up or scouting phase, waiting for players to connect in match-making)
- Small 5vs5 battles are somtimes annoying to the point where the round ends to quick
- Only 3 game modes with a handful of maps currently


Overall Rainbow Six: Siege is an enjoyable game that, if the price tag were a bit lower, I would recommend to most shooter fans. However with the connection issues, short rounds and lack in content, I find myself usually on the fence with judging this game as either a ton of fun or a giant pain in the d*ck. Fans who enjoy tactical shooters like Insurgency or Squad will probably find it difficult to appreciate this title beyond a few hundred hours of gameplay where most players better acquainted with the arcade-style shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield will most likely be responsible for keeping this game alive in the long-term.

Civ: BE fails to be a true successor to Civ: 5 in just about every way imaginable. The game boils down to being a reskin of Civ: 5. I could almost take a stab in the dark in saying that there's probably a mod out there that can effectively turn Civ 5 into Beyond Earth. Interface is pretty much the same, the branching research trees are unimaginative, the units are few and dull by comparison to Civ: 5's ever changing technology and unit types. Overall If you absolutely love Civ: 5 consider getting this game if it's on sale for a quarter of the price.

PROS
+ Interesting Sci-fi landscapes
+ Starting decisions allow for some extra faction customization
+ Polished sounds and graphics

CONS
+ Poor variety of units
+ Late game tech decisions lack polish and customization
+ Dumb AI (surprised?)
+ Not enough innovation involved to justify being a new Civ. title
+ Feels like a Reskin of Civ: 5

It's not very often that a sequel does it right especially in early access, but KF2 hits all the right chords. Although a variety of features are yet to be added, the handful of maps, and weapons that currently exist are incredibly polished and run very smoothly.

The combat and most importantly, Zed Time is probably one of the most attractive features in the game. The way the barrel shakes while you fire as you shoot pieces off from a husk's head is a wonder to behold. It's also worth mentioning that the blood and gore that persists as you embark on your glorious blood frenzy is beautiful. After enduring through wave after wave of mayhem, it's nice to see the fruits of your labors, so to speak.

Overall, I can't say that I have any complaints thus far in the development process. If the game is this polished in early access I can assure you that the plethora of features, guns, maps, skins, etc. that are going to be added, won't disappoint either.

Diablo fans rejoice! Path of Exile is without a doubt the prodigal successor to a franchise that's getting harder to innovate and draw people in every year. PoE just nails it, all of it! From the gothic art style and the mood defining music to the near endless list of innovations that make this game so great and really set it apart in an extremely positive way from any other action RPG. If you haven't gotten yourself lost in Wraeclast, do yourself a favor and install this game immediately.

Some of the highlights with this game

- Nearly limitless amount of itemization
- Really unique mana/health replenishment system (Flasks that refill and have special properties)
- Huge amount of skill combinations involving gems that can be linked in nearly limitless ways
- A passive skill tree that has millions (yes millions!) of different useful and interesting combos
- Huge community that is backed by a passionate developer team that even today continues to support and improve gameplay
- Excellent endgame that is still being developed (maps, hideouts, etc.)
- 6 player co-op
- Leagues and race events that can earn you prizes
- hundreds and hundred of useful uniques that change the way you play in a variety of ways

...and the list goes on!

4 words, "most underrated game ever!" I don't even know where to begin, the game's simple design allows for the developers to chalk it full of content, an ever challenging/evolving AI that will most likely beat you down always keeps me coming back for more and perhaps most importantly, the game is just incredibly satisfying to play, especially with friends. The sheer scale of the battles is incredible and rather smooth. You will fight battles that will span your entire screen, literally thousands if not tens of thousands of ships, turrets and fortresses all lighting up the sky in a spectacular fireshow is truely unforgettable. I would recommend any veteran of anything involving RTS to pick this game up, immediately!

Probably one of the best underrated games of all time. With a solid story, beautiful visuals and a full destruction system that rivals any game that boasts the same kind of destructive fidelity. You really can't ask much more of a open-world third person shooter. This game needs to be more popular!

Awful controls, non-user friendly menus and the panicky feeling of being thrown in the deep end. The tutorial was poorly set-up as well, you could test what it asks you to do and then flip through the next tip by accident because you clicked. The "always-on" firing and the ship flipping/drill is atrocious for new players to get the hang of especially when you end up dying every 20-30 seconds because of the map lay out. Despite the bright colours, constant action and random map generation, most gamers will feel more frusteration than enjoyment from this this poorly constructed indie title. I got this game free from PC Gamer and I still somehow feel ripped off.
