This is basically the 2024 of Empire Deluxe. One of my favorite games of all time.Got it once the single player AI became available. Sadly not many people playing online. Wort the $20 but needs to go free to get users and awareness. Also needs mod tools, map maker and more map settings

This game is interesting. It has several different time periods thruout history and is basically a 3x game. Its definitely more data driven than action or mouse driven. Basicaly you build up your territories and armies to conquer the map. It keeps stats on everything and there is a balance between war, diplomacy and economy. You can set the AI aggressiveness and can be in perpetual war if you don't want to deal with diplomacy at all. Its appeal to me is that it falls in between Risk and a Paradox micromanagement game as far as strategy complexity goes. Its straightforward and not overly complicated with a lot of uneeeded bells and whistles. Its more of a strategy simulation type game.

I can not recommend this game. Its very limited and doesn't compete with even the simplest tower defence or mobile games. It tries to be different with units and leveling but it just lacks any replayability whatsoever. If there were able to create some type of multiplayer that would solve most of its problems.
