i do mean the color. before you could turn it off by unchecking the "show theme" box, which i liked since i prefered playing with the light blue background, but now the colors cant be turned off anymore. could you please make it so we can turn it off again?

Hi!
Would it be possible to implement so we can skip the after-level part? When I solve a level, it takes a long time for "ding", and then count the three crowns "ding, ding, ding", and THEN I can go to the next level, it feels like a REALLY long time inbetween levels.

Checked out your demo. Great music, great ui, love the idea of full color backgrounds to the puzzles. This will be the best Picross game on Steam once it gets there.

Personnally, I ignore the names in theses type of games, so I understand you. That's why I added the theme, but It's still a clue. I can go further and add an option to hide the theme for puzzles not yet completed (in the puzzle selection screen).

So for the workshop, the themes could also be hidden :)

Well the thing is - I'm not much happy about "Random()" puzzles... So I do hope that in Puzzle list (inluding Workshop ones) there will be ability to "Hide" the names - As Names takes away wonder of "what" I'm going to draw. Also It does make solving easier..

1) The Shuffle mode picks randomly puzzles completed in Classic mode. In the panel "Shuffle mode", you can see the number of puzzles available in the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
2) No, the Shuffle mode picks randomly in the range defined by the sizes (10x10 to 20x20 for example). Why would you like to select a puzzle in this mode ? I'm not sure to understand your question.

1) In Shuffle mode - can I see only those nonograms - I hadn't yet completed?
1.1) If "no" - do I see " ✔ " for completed puzzle?
2) Can I "Select" a puzzle in "Shuffle mode" or do I just get given "puzzle = getPuzzle(rnd.Next());" ?

@AssassinLV Sorry for the wait

1) You refer to themes which appear when doing a puzzle in Classic mode? If so they are hidden automatically in Shuffle mode. I could add an option in settings to disable them in Classic mode.
2) For the moment I don’t really want to get into multi-color nonograms. For the time being I want to try to offer players the best experience possible with classic nonograms.
3) As yet, puzzle size will remain moderate so the 'x' marker is sufficient. Later on it will be easy to change the marker as an option.
4) Maximum puzzle size is 25 x 25 at present. To go further I will have to improve my algorithms or change them.
5) I also like Triddlers – must be fun to program too ! As with multi-color nonograms, it is not for the immediate future but, one day, why not ?

and here are questions:
1) Is there possible to Hide the Names?
2) Will at one day there be possible to create MultiColour puzzle (I meant like classical Multi-Colour Nonograms)?
3) Is there " · " marker avaible (for more complicated puzzles (like 200x50))?
4) What is the Max Size?
5) Is there a plan to add new types of Nonograms - like Triddlers ( http://www.griddlers.net/en/triddlers ) ?

Paint it Back is good game, but some features (very important to me) are missing:

- The game doesn't fade the "verified" numbers in the middle of a row/column
- For the beginners, there is no highlight system to show the solvable rows/columns
- It's not possible to create fully colored puzzle because the game uses one layer contrary to Pictopix that use two layers (one to draw the picture and another to draw the puzzle)
- It's not possible to create puzzles of any sizes (the sizes are predefined in Paint it back)
- And some minors features are missing (only one puzzle can be saved, history of actions not saved, etc.)

Paint it Back has bigger puzzles than Pictopix, but I'll improve this point later.

Hi Erbs,

Compared to Picross DS and more recently Picross e, Pictopix will allow the player to create and share colored puzzles (via the workshop). The game also contains achievements and a shuffle mode. As the game runs on computer (more memory), several players can play on the same on the computer (there are several save slots). Furthermore, each puzzle progress can be saved with the history of the actions (the players can undo/redo theirs actions). There are others features described on the page Steam.

Don't hesitate to play the demo to form your own opinion :)

I grabbed the demo of your new title, and i look forward to android releases. When it comes to tablet interfaces, I suggest looking at how "Nonogram Katana" has done things, best interface i've experienced and i've put over 200 hours into playing nonograms in the past couple years. Best way to be successful with porting over to that interface will be making it playable. Many nonogram games on android didn't take into account how messy it can get on a tablet.
