The best parts of Sonic Unleashed combined with the weirdest physics of Classic Sonic gameplay.

Modern Sonic certainly feels amazing (especially with mods) with the boost gameplay being incredibly thrilling and satisfying especially when you're able to keep a consistent boost. It's simple enough to understand and play but difficult to master in alot of ways. The only problem I have though with Modern Sonic's levels is the fact that there is too many 2D sections that just ruin the experience; I mean we already have classic sonic so why bother.
Speaking of Classic Sonic, his physics feel the most inconsistent to the classic games and as such feel so off. In fact, you have to constantly push the right on the dpad to even get some form consistent speed. He no longer really has proper physics and even his spin dash is screwed up. There's even a dedicated "spin dash" button that gets you back at top speed and it's so OP that it's downright abusive.

Overall, best part of the game is the modern sonic levels while the weakest part is ironically the classic sonic levels. Still get the game, especially if it's on sale. Its worth every penny and with mods (unleashed project) it can help enhance your experience with modern sonic.
