Zeyphr 最近的评测

I like what I see here, but it's rough in its current state. The UI needs a lot of work. The game works well with a controller, but requires a mouse to navigate the skill menus and doesn't change to controller glyphs if one is plugged in (at least it didn't for me. I used a PS4 controller to play). The OST doesn't seem to have a very cohesive identity to it, moving from ominous, somber music to heavy metal guitars very fast. Maybe something like the way Devil May Cry introduces more intense music as battle progresses would work better here? The animations are very impressive, and I'd like to see this demo blossom into an amazing final product.

There's an area in the second fight where Prati can get stuck if you try, but it's not too bad of an issue, given the rest of the dinosaurs can clear the area just fine.
The characters are wonderful! Torn between Shade and Prati.

Wish I could give a neutral review. It's not a *hard* no for me, but...

Demo appears to be outdated compared to the current release, and needs some touch-ups. The concept is pretty cool, but I wasn't willing to drop money on it just yet, so I tried the demo first. I had fun with the time I had in this game. If you like Dredge and games like Viscera Cleanup Detail and Powerwashing Simulator, you might like this. Didn't get to see if there were any scares more intense than the dude hanging out behind your boxes in the bazaar (see below).

Completely missed the AI disclaimer, but got suspicious upon seeing the cosmetic paintings you can set for your dock. Not sure what it was, something felt wrong. Went back to read the store page, and saw the disclaimer. AI gen is used for the NPC character assets (not for the paintings). Became disappointed in devs and ashamed of myself for not noticing. Quit and uninstalled. Full game has no AI gen content, by the looks of it, but I'm a believer in the idea that the usage of AI generation is a violation of trust between the artist and the viewer (in this case, developer and player). If you're willing to use AI gen as a placeholder asset, where else are you willing to use it? :(

May come back to the full release, if the demo's updated to match the full game (no AI gen). For now, though...

A beautiful game with addictive gameplay.

...Well, it WOULD be beautiful, if my computer could run it. But I'm fine with the low-res graphics settings. The game is very taxing on hardware, so startup is slow. I end up playing for many hours at a time because I can't bear the thought of closing the game and starting it back up on a whim. There are a few tweaks you can do to help the game's speed, though, such as setting its priority higher in Task Manager or fiddling with graphics card settings.

I play singleplayer, I don't think I'd be able to run a multiplayer game.
