When you remove voice actors from your demo and replace them with AI-models, you're part of the problem. It also raises the question in my head "what else here is the product of AI? Is the music, art, etc produced by people who get paid to do work or slapped together by an intern using midjourney?" It's gross. It's anti-worker. It makes playing the game unconscionable in my opinion, and I'd really recommend against playing it unless they hard reverse course.

While the number of challenges is, as of yet, small, Besiege is a beautifully crafted, beautifully atmospheric game. Provided one can make smooth progress, the game is almost zen-like, due in part to its sandbox-creativity-tool nature, but also, a suprisingly soothing ambience. Something to definitely put on your wishlist, if, for whatever reason, you don't want to buy now.
