Been playing Foxhole for a while on Able 3 Server, in the span of two days right now. And holy hell this game can get you playing for hours. The battles are hectic, one point you're pushing the enemy back into it's last objective, then for some reason you see yourself stuck in your lines and the enemy in theirs with no-mans-land in between the two lines here all hell takes place.

You've got people doing logistics, engineering, in-direct artillery firing, setting up fortifications & defenses and sending soldiers to the front.

Then you've got the people taking up the role as a Medic saving people's lives on the battlefield, Engineers who do the frontline fortifications such as Sandbags for the Frontline Soldiers who do all the heavy lifting, taking the fight to the enemy.

There's also some roleplaying that occurs in the friendly lines and on the frontline, so that's nice. I've seen some wounded people screaming and others throwing insults at eachother as they kill eachother in brutal ways. War is hell.

It may be like confusing at the start on how to get started, like gathering your weapons and such. But you'll find a lot of people who will gladly take their time to help you and get yourself equipped for the frontlines.

There are some people who are toxic, well, people who flame I guess you could say, like literally nearly witnessed a massive arguement going on in my own faction (The Wardens, the only just faction in the game *Cough* totally not biased), which happened due to an arguement between Infantrymen and Tankers who the Infantry claimed the Tankers not giving support on their push on the enemy HQ. It was pretty cool though, kinda captured the feels that during in war there is always something that's causing problems for an army to succede in battle.

I have yet to see people going around griefing things, WHICH is a good thing.

BTW THIS GAME SOLELY RELIES ON COOPERATIOM AND TEAMWORK.

Also for an Alpha game, it's pretty good. There are some bugs like voice chat kind of glitching out when you're kind of distanced away from them, the bugs aren't very game-breaking btw.

The only one I've noticed is when you hold like medical supplies as a Medic, you may get stuck for some reason and the voice chat kind of glitching out SOMETIMES when you're not that close to people and your weapon not loading for some reason, Fix for that one is just un-equip and re-equip.

Probably the best Persistent World WW1-2 Inspired Game out there.

Not a bad game, I like this one as much as I liked the first one.
Probably one of my favourite games on Steam, despite it being so short lol.

The only problem I have is that you can't go back to choose what you want to say, which kind of annoys me, but other than that.

The game's got a pretty good story with different ways how your "relationship" ends with either Emily or Evelyn.

Games' worth five dollars.

One of the best Early Access Survival games out there, definetly worth a buy if you like games in this Genre.

A game where you can live life as a man in Finland building a car and drink lots of beer. This is probably one of the best early-access games I've bought on Steam, I recommend this to everyone looking at this review right now.

Look, a modder is making a mod to improve the AI. Meanwhile devs give us national focuses and features that should've been in the base game.

Game is still good BUT the AI is just retarded as hell that you need mods to improve your gameplay.

If you like the Middle Ages then you'll like this game.

Game is still an early access and but plays and runs smoothly for me, probably for you aswell idfk.

Down below is my opinion about the game.
(Will update when I have more things too list)

The good stuff
- Combat System is like Mount & Blade and feels realistic, literally 8 ways using your weapons.
- Developers listen to the community and are active.
- Good looking maps.
- Conquest matches with 140 people.
- Game peformance/optmization isn't bad, I barely get any lag or bad fps.
- Combat Animations are good.
- The game is like Mount & Blade but with better graphics.
- Armour customization, Armour is nicely detailed.
- Dev team is the team behind cRPG mod for M&B :0.

The bad stuff
- Combat can be very confusing, MB1 is used both for attacking and defense. You can use MB2 if you have a shield though, took me a while to figure that out.
- 2h weapons feel op, feel like swing speed needs some nerfing.
- Small bugs and some game crashes, but barely noticeable. i.e corpses being frozen standing up.
- No ragdolls for now.
- Needs Coat of Arms or colored teams instead of a slightly transparent white overhead triangle.
- Unlocking armours and weapons can feel and become a bit grindy.
- The Epic not released :(.
- Combat hitboxes feel a bit out of place, idk. It's probably just me.

Tbh, I think you should just buy the game or watch gameplay and see for yourselves if you like it.

Or just wait a few more months and check the game out again.

Pretty fun game, if you like to do the things listed below:

Incest.
Marrying your daughter.
Marrying a Horse.
Making a Horse as your council member.
Marrying an Ice bear and also have them as your council members.
Seduce the same bear and horse.
Maybe even appoint the same listed animals to take place as your beneficiary on Crusades, so they become kings of the holy land.
Murder babies and "maybe" serve them as food.
Game of Thrones politics, making your way to the top with assassinations and bribery.
Doing a genocide on a whole dynasty line for your own benefit.
Getting an STD.
Becoming homosexual and passing the same STD to people like the Pope himself.
Dominating other people to your sadistic and special needs.
Dying of medieval diseases.
Getting a doctor who will amputate you cause of a small runny nose.

Do not buy this, if you don't like doing the things listed above. Even if you still don't like doing the things listed above, you'll miss out on some of the content and the mechanics this great game has to offer.

It was snowy, me and my buddies were in a forest. On our way to occupty a lumber camp, that wasn't too far from our FOB. We walked through the forest, completely aware of our surroundings, with our hands and butts freezing cause it was too cold. It was quiet for a moment, until suddenly we get ambushed by Germans.

Me and the guys dig in quick as possible, our pointman screams out "RETURN FIRE!". We clash in a lenghty firefight, until the Germans had gotten the upper hand with an MG-42.

We were being suppressed and we knew that we had to retreat back to our FOB, we were all shaken and scattered around the forest. A few guys tried to retreat back but were shot down by the MG-42 before they could even stand up and run.

One of the guys in patrol who was next to me popped a smoke infront of the Germans POV so they couldn't see us, he then grabbed me and said "Come on, we gotta move!". We tried running back to FOB, under heavy fire from MG's and rifles, we ran and ran, we were tired and exhausted. I took a hit on my foot causing me to trip and fall down onto the ground. The guy behind me tried to get me up before he took a fatal hit to the chest. I continued my retreat towards the FOB, a few minutes later, I found myself wandering in the forest, alone, no weapon, no ammo pouches.

Until a German popped up infront of me, he aims his rifle at me, but doesn't shoot. We both looked at eachother, I stood infront of him unarmed and he was infront of me with his rifle aimed at me. From the look of his face, I could tell that he was afraid, confused and tired, just a normal human being sent out to fight.

I take one step forward and *BOOM* I fell on the ground, bleeding out and slowly losing breath as I watch the snow cover my body...

- Good looking HD textures, don't expect to much though, this isn't a game from 2014.
- A good community.
- Long or short but also realistic battles.
- Almost realistic Wounding System E.g. some bullets doesn't end your life, leaving you badly wounded. If shot on the leg, you will be come unable to run for a few minutes.
- HUD isn't bad, just a simple weapon info, character info, compass and then your friendly map to help you navigate.
- Immersive combat and good looking weapons.
- Practice mode for newbies.
- Different classes with different guns and special equipment on the battlefield, E.g. Bazooka's, STG-44's, Radio Operator, Mortar Operator. etc, etc.
- Maps are well designed and look good.
- Tanks are also well designed, the best looking tank is probably the Tiger.
- Different factions for each country E.g. Paratroopers, 2nd Rangers, 29th ID, Fallshirmjagers, etc. etc.
- Game is trying to resemble tactical and realistic combat gameplay, so Communication and Teamwork helps to achieve victory on the battlefield.
- Devs & the small community are still active.

- Only one active server which is mostly active on EU time, sometimes US players get on.
- Game can be frustrating and hard for new players.
- A few maps are buggy.
- Lag spikes, doesn't happen often though.
- Bots are stupid, literally stupid and don't function well in Practice mode.
- Animations can sometimes glitch, when running or doing other things. But it doesn't happen a lot.
- Some maps can be a slaughter fest for attackers or defenders.
- Some maps are very hard for the attacking team.
- Only three'ish countries, the Commonwealth (Britain and Canada), the US and Germany.
- Voice acting isn't the best.

This is a good and fun mod to play and maybe one of the best mods/games to resemble World War 2 combat in the Western front.

This mod is fantastic, what's great about is the fact that it's free! And set in the Western Front.

There are only four maps at the moment, but that doesn't stop us from having fun and intense moments in games or mods like this.

The maps look good. My favourite is Oosterbeek, cause the British ^^.
Custom uniforms aren't to bad, but they look good for a mod.
The British models and sleeves look great and so does their weapons! ^^.
(The German G43 looks weird though)

There will be lots of fighting and explosions all around you
Combat feels like its more deadlier in this mod and more intense.
Probably because three maps in this game are kinda small, so don't be suprised to experience a lot of dying in the game or maybe it's just me thinking that the maps are small idk.

The big downside is that it uses "Rising Storm" format or whatever, so if you don't have Rising Storm.

You won't be able to use other classes in either side and you'll only be able to use the Rifleman class.

But if that doesn't bother you or if you already have RS, go ahead and give this mod a try!
