I went in not expecting much from this game but i was pleasantly surprised. the game is a relatively short well crafted survival horror experience with obvious influences from contemporaries of the genre. I do see a lot of room for expansion going forward into hopefully some sort of sequel at some point. the only real qualms i have with this game are that the pistol seems oddly under powered compared to the other weapons and i feel like there could have been a bit more interaction outside of the nightmare to really deepen the story. If a sequel is made i would hope to see some sort of weapon upgrade mechanic similar to resident evil 2 & 3 and the game being over all longer with more development into what the nightmare is what caused it and maybe some instances of the player waking up and doing things in the normal world all the while knowing the moment the go back to sleep its back to hell for another night of fighting to survive.

Amazing game with a lot of people badmouthing it for the wrong reasons.

This is the first game in a long time to keep me up all night glued to my monitor. Admittedly there are a few negatives including the poor frame rate in large cities and kind of wonky controls, however i think the frame rate will be improved over a few patches and honestly people complaining about Capcom's micro transactions need to take a chill pill because they are about the least intrusive ones to exist and really only exist to trick board members who want to ruin games for profit.

Conclusion? Buy this game.

Cant afford it? Wait for a sale and buy this game.

Still cant afford it? you and i both know there are options for people like you.

I bought this out of spite for all the people whining and complaining about something that will never, and can never, effect them in any way. This is a completely unnecessary purchase as these can be obtained in the game just from regular questing and having one more isn't really going to change much, but to me its worth it to laugh at people who wont experience such an awesome game because of their own feelings about something that is completely optional.

Awesome game, it has had its s ups and downs. but it is always a great time.
