It's good, RE7 was imo better. Story was kinda weird and yeah ok it's RE so it is but even by RE standards. Captures the vibe of winter really well sort of like how 7 did with a humid ass summer day but in reverse, yet the immersion is harder this time. The pacing with some ♥♥♥♥ was bad I will say like weapon upgrades and some stupid missable stuff that shouldn't be missable.

Imagine having 3 games to work off of, and managing to ♥♥♥♥ up completely. This game feels like it was made by the c u next tuesday-est HR team on earth. It's not skate. It's slop.

Just a bad RE game. Takes everything the series does well and does it bad. It isn't completely awful but it's very mid. They may as well have just made this an animated movie, but even then the story and characters were kinda trash too so yeah nah.

Game looks nice but it's basically a walking simulator where the controls and clipping suck so you get stuck a lot and does a bad job at even really simple gameplay. I liked the story mostly but it's so short it basically felt like it was just starting to get juicy and then just ends immediately afterwards.

Oh and the game also makes it seem like you should use the camera for "evidence" at some points in the story, which never ends up being a thing so u just waste pics and get lame ones to show up at the end of the game cause it encouraged u to waste them for no reason.
