After 84 hours in Deep Rock Galactic, I’ve learned two universal truths: teamwork matters, and someone is always going to press the button too early. Playing this with my kiddos has been an absolute blast — not just because shooting alien bugs is fun, and mining precious gems is lucrative, but because the game quietly teaches cooperation while pretending it’s just about yelling “I NEED AMMO” at full volume. Every mission is different, every cave is a mystery, and every drop feels like a shared “OK, we got this!” moment .. which we absolutely do NOT half of the time, but that's half the fun. And the fully destructible environments are just icing on the cake.

The magic is in the details. Random missions that somehow never feel repetitive. Loadouts that actually force you to rely on each other. Collectible cosmetics that range from “battle-hardened space dwarf” to “what happened in the locker room?” And the Space Rig? A perfect between-mission chaos zone where we drink absurdly well-crafted space beer, gain questionable buffs, dance badly, and laugh when gravity suddenly becomes optional. It’s unapologetically over-the-top, intentionally built, and ridiculous in exactly the right way.

The seasonal objectives and progression are sneakily brilliant. There’s always something to work toward — new cosmetics, upgrades, scrip, and rewards that make you say “one more mission” way more times than you planned. Weapons and equipment steadily evolve, letting you tweak builds, unlock overclocks, and turn your dwarf into a highly specialized bug-destroying professional (or an unhinged explosives enthusiast). It’s rewarding without being grindy, and it gives you a sense of progress and accomplishment without sucking the fun out of it.

Deep Rock Galactic doesn’t just reward skill — it rewards paying attention, backing each other up, and laughing when things go sideways (which they will). It turns cooperation into comedy, chaos into bonding, and random moments into memories. Whether you play with family or friends, this game will quickly reveal who communicates, who panics, and who absolutely should not be trusted with big red buttons.

Dwarves, beer, mining, and guns - what could possibly go wrong? Also, repeatedly moving the M.U.L.E. every five seconds does not make the mission faster, it makes your coworkers tired, and is classified as ‘hostile workplace behavior.’ :D

Borderlands 3 is what happens when a loot system receives divine power and the writing team triple-shots espresso then dares the player to keep up. After 290 hours, I’ve been emotionally attacked by gun stats, betrayed by explosions, and carried through fights solely by the power of spite — and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. This game doesn’t whisper “fun.” It screams “HERE’S ANOTHER GUN” and throws glitter in your face.

The weapons are the real stars. Every drop feels like opening a toxic relationship application form: “Do you want power? Chaos? Regret? All three?” I’ve built loadouts purely for comedy, purely for destruction, and purely because the gun description made me laugh. Somehow, they all still worked.

Playing with friends elevates everything. Borderlands 3 becomes less “FPS” and more “group disaster simulator.” Someone always presses the wrong button. Someone always insists “we’ve got this” seconds before absolutely not having it. And when it works? When a plan actually succeeds? It feels like discovering fire for the first time.

This isn’t a serious shooter. It’s a loud, messy, self-aware carnival with guns and questionable judgment. And after 290 hours, I’m still here — still looting, still laughing, still diving back in for “one more run.” If you like chaos, ridiculous weapons, and bonding over shared stupidity, this is home.

24 hours into Clone Drone in the Danger Zone and I’ve achieved enlightenment: I am terrible at staying alive, and this game LOVES reminding me. One moment I’m a confident cyber-warrior slicing enemies like a legend, the next I’m a footless torso desperately hopping away from doom. I’ll feel unstoppable for roughly six seconds before a spider-bot vaporizes me, a random arrow finds my face, or I backflip confidently into a sawblade like a metallic lemming. Meanwhile, the announcers cheerfully narrate my psychological collapse like sports commentators covering a slow-motion car crash or a documentary on poor life choices.

And yet… it never stops being fun. The arenas are unfair in exactly the right way, and every loss feels like an invitation to try again — dumber, braver, somehow wiser. It’s pure, ridiculous joy wrapped in sharp metal edges and sarcasm. If you want controlled chaos where every death feels half like your fault and half like fate laughing at you, this game delivers beautifully.

This game keeps giving me abilities I definitely shouldn’t be trusted with.

2.5 hours in and Bopl Battle already feels like a physics experiment gone feral. I launch myself into walls, detonate platforms by accident, and somehow win anyway. I fling myself off the map, turn the arena into a disaster zone, and occasionally pull off something that looks intentional. Colorful blobs. Ridiculous physics. Accidental genius plays followed by instant humiliation. 10/10 chaos in just a couple hours. Bopl Battle is pure, joyful chaos. Absolute goo-powered nonsense. I adore it.

Even this early on and Bopl Battle already has my friend group questioning our alliances, reflexes, and life choices. Cute art, explosive chaos, and endless dumb fun. Worth every gooey second.

Some games test your skill. Bopl Battle tests your ability to laugh as the universe betrays you. And somehow… that’s exactly why it works.

“10/10 Would Cry Again”

Hours played: 35 (and about 12 of those were spent staring into the void).

This game emotionally suplexed me, then hugged me afterward. I came for the action and stayed for the heartbreak, the guitar solos, and the emotional damage. Every stealth kill felt like therapy, every cutscene felt like a breakup.

The story punches you in the soul, the visuals make your GPU sweat, and the sound design had me checking over my shoulder IRL. By the end, I wasn’t sure if I’d beaten the game or if it had beaten me.

Would absolutely relive the trauma again. 10/10 — highly recommend if you enjoy beautiful narrative in 4K. 👍

The wife and I enjoy playing this game for casual downtime. You can play solo, friends only, or open multiplayer if you wish. There are time-limited events but there are so many multiplayer farms open to the public they are easy to complete. You can easily lose track of time as you design your farms, your houses, rearrange layouts, etc. Really fun game!

Beautifully stunning game. Easy to pick up, will take a while to master. Misleadingly simple in its design, very techniucal in its flow. Very well balanced for an early access game. I can see myself putting in hundreds of hours and I look forward to seeing what all the updates bring. None of the bugs are critical, just minor clipping issues so far. Really good job, Coffee Stain!

P.S. Bring a friend. Just do it. It makes it easier and even more fun.

I really loved the idea of a Cyberpunk-esque looter-shooter. It's a bit of a learning curve in the beginning as you wrap your mind around some of the new concepts, but you pick it up fairly quickly. Definitely in the vein of "easy to pick up, hard to master". The artwork, the animations, the music, none of it disappoints. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. I love the upgrade and customization paths. Augmentations and loot boxes? Yes, please!

The missions are fun, and it runs smooth! The only drawback is that there are currently some bugs in co-op play, but the Devs are already on top of it with a thread started for posting co-op issues.

Used to only play this game on and off with the kiddos at random times. It has improved so much. The lag caused caused by memory buffer overflow issues has been almost completely resolved (at least for me). The UI is cleaner, the music is more varied and quite charming. The new maps, and easier matchmaking make this a solid new favorite. The unlockable in game cosmetic items and ways to customize your round of golf make this game twice as fun as it used to be. I can easily see myself putting in many, many more hours here now :D

This game is brutal. The devs are evil. Friends for the boss fights in this game are mandatory. I paid full price for this game and I love Gunfire Games for taking my money. Do not underestimate the enemies in this game. The pathing is amazing (if you can do it, so can they pretty much). Watch your back constantly, play this game with headphones so you can hear the audio queues, and be prepared for world boss fights that have been beautifully and viciously designed. You will die. A lot. You will get frustrated. But bring 2 more friends and a LOT of ammo, upgraded weapons and gear, and you may stand a chance. The randomly generated worlds (each playthrough is different) means you will have to do a LOT of thorough searching if you are an achievement hunter or collector. OCD in this game is just as bad as lack of attention :D The mods for the weapons add beautiful variation to your arsenal output, and there is a mod for every need. Choose wisely ;) The graphics are beautiful, and the music is done nicely.

I still can't put this game down, I'm having an absolute blast with the beautiful different worlds, learning boss fight strategies, and trying to collect everything. By the way, there is no pause in this game, so tread carefully and invest in your Traits as soon as you can. Definitely worth it at full price, and for those of you waiting, if you get it on sale later, it will be a steal and a gem for your collection.
