Rust is better

I was hyped for Artifact because the gameplay is actually pretty nice but unfortunately this game disappointed me a bit.

-The economy is awful: no way to get packs in game, you can just buy them or spend event tickets (which you need to buy with real money) to participate in competitive tournaments, which are the ONLY competitive game modes in the game. Valve also takes a HUGE CUT on the Steam Market. If Valve wanted to get extra money so bad they should have just added cool skins/emotes/taunts. Cannot even trade cards with friends!

-No "social" features, like the game was advertised: no replays, can't spectate friends playing, can't chat with the opponent, you can't even add an opponent as a friend after playing with him (in fact multiplayes feels like playing against bots, there's no interaction AT ALL). Even the game trailer is misleading.

-No MMR/Ladder system or any progression system: there's no motivation to play.

-No profile page/stats: there's no profile tab, can't see any stats, no way to see gauntlets best runs in a single page... Would be cool to have a more social profile page with favorite decks/cards, best runs, etc.

-No way to get better analyzing past games: no post-game stats, no replays and no game history, which all prevent a player to get better.

-Doesn't even feel competitive: you need to pay for the competitive modes, no MMR system (no leaderboards or anything like that).

All this makes me sad because the gameplay is good. Richard Garfield made an excellent job.
Please Valve fix this stuff!

Changed my review to recommended because devs are working hard on Artifact 2.0 and I'm positive the game will be much much better.

Great story campaign, great dlcs. great innovative gameplay (parkour and stuff), great developers who still constantly update the game with free dlcs

I love this product! If you want to play games comfortably on your couch then this is for you, it's also so useful when you have a couple of friends over and you want to play videogames on the big screen.

BE CAREFUL THOUGH: You need to plug the PC to the router via Ethernet Cable (I use a powerline since my PC is on the second floor and the modem on the first one) or the games will lag as heck! But once you got your steam link up and running via cable then it'll be AWESOME.

I'm absolutely not into football games.

But oh my god. THIS GAME. This game is so addicting that you'll even dream to be a car and fly trying to kick a ball in the air!
