The LaGG-3 was a Soviet fighter aircraft developed in the late 1930s and used during World War II. It was named after its designers, Lavochkin, Gorbunov, and Gudkov. The LaGG-3 had a wooden construction, which was a departure from the earlier LaGG-1 that had a mixed wood and metal structure.
