A great debut for Oats Studios, this three part short film is squarely in the Neill Blomkamp oeuvre. With a harrowing depiction of a possible future, surprise appearances by some famous actors, and extremely high production values throughout, this 22-minute film is well worth your time. I look forward to seeing what comes next from Oats.

Phenomenal. Can't say a word without spoiling it. If you like retro games, pick it up.

Extreme melodrama and extreme shootdodging. Some folks may be put off by the long cutscenes, but if you have the patience for those there's a very good game here indeed.

A strong argument for teaching your children how to swim.

One word: Gunstacker.

A puzzle game all about designing reactors, SpaceChem is one of the most challenging games I've played this year. Some of the puzzles make me feel like a dunce, but the satisfaction of seeing my solution in motion is worth it.

Plus you might even learn a little basic chemistry, or at least recall it from your high school classes. Don't think this is edutainment, though - you don't need to know any to play the game.

Outstanding art direction and first-person brawler gameplay that actually works. Highly recommended!
