Do you ever play a game and enjoy it but feel like something is missing? But you can't really name it? Yeah that's what I felt like playing this game. Still, it would be unfair to review it negatively; but definitely try the demo before you buy.

Would I recommend this game if you got it in a bundle? Strong YES.

Would I do the same for full price? No.

It has its strength but also too many weaknesses to pay full price. Wait for Fanatical or Humble to include it.

To me, this is the true GOTY 2025. If you like Oblivion or even Skyrim, you will love this. Think of it as their depressed, Lovecraftian little brother.

Just like "The Hidden Art of Innkeeping", the gameplay is addicting as hell. Love it.

Well, what can I say. I am in fact smarter than a 5th grader.

And if the game wasn't filled to the brim with unnecessary animations you need to skip all the time, I would've given it a positive review. But even at 90% off, I cannot recommend this.

I'm not sure by what means the dev managed to get "Very Positive" reviews on this, but I hope you read the reviews before buying this crap and immediatly closed the store.

Bugged and abandoned.

So first things first, don't expect too much of this game. This is not a rival to Stardew Valley and the likes. For instance, the dialogue is.. err.. "not good". You are also very limited in what you can do. But what you can do, works ok-ish, at least most of the time. Sadly, foraging and cutting trees is more annoying than anything else. At least with your standard tools.

You will and can upgrade your tools, but you'll have to wait quite a while, depending on what you choose to upgrade first.

Why am I giving it a positive review, then, you ask? Because the gameplay loop is still a lot of fun. You can easily start up the game to kill some time and then save and exit. Since the game doesn't require you to sleep to save (One of my biggest pet peeves in farming games is the need to sleep to save!), you can hop in and out at your leisure.

However, all things considered, I'd still advise you to grab it in a bundle or on sale since 17€ is too steep imho.
