Big fan since early access. You get to be clever in setting up your turn, then get a reward of a slick looking mech battle (or are shamed by your inadequacy in the replay). Add to that a ton of customization and an extraordinary soundtrack, and you have a game that punches many tons above its already considerable weight.

I like this game very much. It is about as close to a video game adaptation of Network as we're likely ever to get. The game is well written and the acting is quite good, and so there is as much replayability in watching and rewatching the scenes and noticing the subtleties you may have missed while running the broadcast. This is on top of the branching paths and numerous epilogues.

Finally, it's a game worth playing because it hits harder than expected. I wanted a laugh and got it, but the game delivered so much more. I've been enthusiastically recommending it as a result.

Why review at 0.2 hours? Because I've been playing for a year.

Titan's a game that really clicked with me. It's easily the simulation game that's most readily drawn me in and it has rewarded continued play with monthly updates and new things to try (even if just as personal challenges). But should *you* buy it?

It's in early access. Half of the fun has been being able to be in the Discord, see the team interact with its community, watch the streams and generally 'be a Titan fan.' It also means managed expectations because fully implemented population simulations, tech trees, and other features are part of the roadmap. I've liked following it this way, but it does mean keeping expectations in check (a 'must have' not being implemented doesn't mean it's not coming. It does mean it's not here).

What if you don't like the deeper engagement and just want to play the game? The game is a feast for the senses and there's plenty to do right now. You start building at the micro scale (factories) and build out to your fully fledged dystopia. There's plenty to do and enough room for multiple strategies (buy out the rebels, build a huge navy, turtle up behind towers etc.). There's enough here for me to become fanatical about the game and I think there's every reason for fans of city builders, sims, and/or strategy games to dive in deep. But if you feel like running into things that haven't been implemented (or are sparse) will throw you off, then it may be better to wait.

Even if you don't normally engage with games this way, the best way to play Titan is to wrap yourself up in it and interact on the Discord or other social channels. New updates every month give you something to look forward to and talk about. Watch a stream, boast about your awesome looking city (the photo mode is great!), or ask why nobody bothers to build air filters, and even Laiyo Visk couldn't extract more value per dollar from a purchase.

Industries of Titan is a when purchase not an if, and early access isn't going to be around forever.

Fiendishly good dice game. An individual run respects your time but it's easy to have "just more one more" creep up on you and steal you evening.

The soundtrack is really wonderful and so you're doing yourself a favour if you pick up that DLC/Bundle along with this gem.

This is a really wonderful and challenging game. If you struggle, the pause button is your friend. Otherwise, a great blend of ship combat and HR management that lives up to its reputation.

Do you want a mystery game? Maybe something like L.A. Noire but does a better job of giving you the feeling of being an investigator? Would you like part of that discovery to be the really neat setting on display on the trailer? Yes? The game's probably for you.

I haven't done the final case yet. Unless that case makes fun of my hair and causes a hand to emerge from the screen and poke me in both eyes, I will say it's a very good game and the kind of game we don't see a lot of.

What I'm not going to do is pretend to know how much you're willing to pay for a video game. You can see the playtimes and read the description/achievements for how much 'game' you get. I like to stop and smell the roses. You might not. What none of these other reviews is going to do is go back when the game is on sale and change their review to a thumbs up.

The game is very good. I recommend it. It's up to you to decide how much you want to pay and it really annoys me to know people will miss or delay trying a really enjoyable game because Steam reviews pretend there's some high score for getting some kind of deal.

As a beginner, I strongly recommend this game.

Perfect blend or relaxing atmosphere with a difficulty ramp up that doesn't break your calm. Very strong recommendation. Immediately bought it for my phone after.

I had a big stupid grin on my face the whole time. A remarkably charming game.
