The majority of the game was INCREDIBLY good and well written. The highlight was absolutely the character design, animation, and voice acting. I loved the scenes (like the backgrounds and the different rooms), and I thought it was super cool how the whole mansion was laid out.

HOWEVER, and I know over half of the reviews are like this, but the closer I got to the ending, maybe like the last 20% of the game when you really start figuring things out, felt rushed. The twists were cool in theory, but I don't think they were executed very well. Plus, the very ending left me feeling very unfulfilled, like there were a lot of questions still left unanswered and the game seems to end very abruptly.

I still recommend the game to support the creators, though. Like I said, the art style and characters themselves were all the stars of the game!! There's a bunch of concept art at the end with notes from the creators that I thought was really cool. I do hope they take everyone's reviews into consideration making their next game.
