The first two ships in this DLC are frustrating, but completable. Frustrating due to the radioactive cargo that is extremely difficult to remove enough stuff from above it to let the crane take it away without being sent home multiple times (even with most tools upgraded to level 8+).

The third ship (Fuso, I think) is where it gets ridiculous. I CANNOT PLAY THIS LEVEL. On one of my early "scavenger runs", exploring the ship, picking up any loose items, and carting them back to my truck, I accidentally ran into an area with radiation off the charts. Instant teleport home. OK, fair enough. Unfortunately, the game froze up shortly after stepping out of my shack. I waited for it to un-freeze, but it didn't happen. Instead the game crashed and closed itself. I left it alone for a couple of days, fearing that my save was now corrupt and I'd have to start over.

I came back to it today to find that my save appears to be OK, but it hadn't autosaved since before I hurled stuff into my truck. Cool. I chucked my crate into the truck and hopped in, pulling up alongside the ship as usual. As soon as I stepped out, the game froze up and closed itself. ARGH!

I'm not even playing on a low-spec machine where I could understand these issues... so it's clearly the game/DLC at fault here.

I've been enjoying this game immensely. RCE made videos about it, which intrigued me, so I picked it up in the Summer Sale. No stutters at all (except during the automatic saves) when playing at 4K on my 1080Ti in DirectX12, which is impressive for a relatively recent game like this. I'd love it if the developers let you use Vulkan, but maybe that's too much to hope for.

My only gripes so far are:
1. The rope tool is a necessity for some of the levels, but for the first level where it's required it's not made clear so I accidentally destroyed the valuable stuff and needed to try that ship again.
2. There appears to be a bug with the crane, because one time I wasn't quick enough jumping off the section of ship I was craning away, and ended up the other side of the fence. Thankfully there's a "click this to reset your position" function, which came in very handy.
3. It wasn't made clear to me that what I'll call the "inventory" (the accumulated material weights at the top of the screen) are not reset when buying another ship, so I kept selling everything before buying the next ship. This made saving up for some upgrades nigh-on impossible until I realised that the "current holding" (stuff measured in the bottom left of the screen - player, warehouse, truck) is the only stuff that's reset when buying a new ship.

A beautiful wholesome little game, although a teensy weensy bit frustrating at times. I played the demo and completed all demo areas before buying the full game. Whilst the full game found my save data and let me proceed from the point of the end of the demo, it didn't unlock the achievements I should have got from the demo areas, and left my save data in a semi-corrupted state. I ended up resetting my save to the beginning (thankfully easy to do) and replaying. So I got to enjoy another lovely playthrough.

Be careful if you've played the demo. Reset your save data by selecting area 1 in the game's area selection menu, or else you'll be in the same situation as I was.

One of the most enjoyable free games I've ever played. Highly addictive. Best enjoyed in a group. Get a bunch of people together and play until you bleed. :-)
