A downgrade from the original in every way. Runs much worse while looking no better. Gunplay has regressed to standard boring modern slide ability hero shooter.
We wanted Portal + Halo + Quake 3. We've now got Overwatch + CoD + Destiny

Currently lacking assets. Only 1 APC, a few tanks and 1 Plane for the two main factions, germans also get some trucks but their APC isnt really an APC its a scout half track that cant carry a squad.

This DLC is required for many important mechanics (which should be base game) such as Lend Lease and a Colony/Dominion system. It provides focus trees for the commonwealth nations (all of them are a bit ♥♥♥♥ and dated).

Is it good? Not really
Should you obtain it? Yes, because the game is crippled without it

Play Company of Heroes 2. Iron Harvest has basically no content, its bland and sterilised in a vain attempt to become an Esport

People comparing this to only Halo dont do it justice. This is Quake 3/Unreal Tournament mixed with Halo and Portal, and it mixes well.
Guns are varied but balanced, something for every playstyle. Maps are great, short, medium and long range on each of them, some favouring a certain engagement range more than others.
The portal gimmick is useful and versatile but only required to access some areas, otherwise you can play by mostly ignoring them if you prefer to, would recommend you use them frequently to get behind your enemies.
If you like FPS games of any kind then you should play this while its free (hopefully it stays free).

while competitive multiplayer has kinda peaked, to the point where its no fun for new players who aren't willing to be humiliated a lot before getting better.
Multiplayer among friends however is as good as ever, with some of the stupid but effective tactics you can pull
The coop skirmish is as good as ever, with vanilla and workshop content being excellent.

The Original Rome: Total War but it actually runs on modern systems and with "improved" graphics.

The new UI is terrible, so bad it does actually ruin the game. This is what happens when instead of a main dev team its outsourced to mobile game developers, they did a really good job for the mobile version of Rome: Total War but they clearly don't know the difference between a tiny touch screen and a proper desktop gaming experience.

Buy this only if you dont mind terribly scaled and badly laid out UI

While the Optimisation could use more work, it has been greatly improved recently. The mod support is excellent.
If you have enough space in your VR setup this is a must have, recommend minimum 3m x 3m for those who forget where they are.

With all the updates to the game, its only become better, still a top VR title even now many years later

Nice idea and gameplay, variety in the gameplay is lacking but could be improved in future.
