Boring af game with absolutely zero identity of it's own. Janky, and weirdly tribalistic fanbase. SUPER ugly, too. Pretty much just Genshin Impact except everyone looks like generic Chinese mobile game models instead of anime characters.

The quest content is really sweet. Base game zones are kinda rough, but after that (so the majority of the game) it's great. Horizontal progression so you can take long breaks from it, thankfully! Endgame content is very hit or miss. PvP is genuinely terrible, but the PvE content is sometimes decent. Dungeons are a coin flip on if they're good or not. Vast majority of cool cosmetics are just bought in the shop, or more specifically, gambled for in loot boxes. Damn shame.

It's still a solid 6 or 7 outta 10 game. Don't recommend playing for the MMO content part tbh, but do recommend playing the story quests!

The playtest for this game was way better. Something just feels off in general about the update. Cool progression idea, but nah to whatever else they did.

I'd probably recommend waiting for a sale, but definitely recommend the DLC as a whole. It's REALLY damn good, but $30 is a lot. I completed it in about 5-6 hours, and there's probably only about another hour I could squeeze out of it by finding all of the cats.

Kaito is an awesome character, and getting to play as him & learn about his backstory was great. All the new characters are pretty good, too.

Combats a little rough, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was an amazing story.

The performance for the game is completely unacceptable, but everyone's already said that.

The combat feels awesome, but they need more monsters and content ASAP. It's definitely way too easy right now, but that'll totally change as Title Updates roll in. Rey Dau, Arkveld, and Uth Duna definitely are my favorite of the new monsters. Cephalopod monsters are a dope addition, can't wait to see more. Incredible final story boss from a lore PoV, too.

I've already finished the game (Finished story, finished every side quest, hunted every monster + Tempered including a few solid speedruns, made multiple mixed monster sets for various weapons, got best in slot decorations) at only 45 hours. That's a great amount of playtime for a modern AAA game, so it's worth the money for sure, but as far as Monster Hunter goes, it's a pretty weak amount of playtime. Again, the game can only go up from here.

I definitely recommend the game if your PC can run it. It's only going to get better from here on out. Maybe wait for the performance to (hopefully) be figured out, maybe even wait for the inevitable G Rank expansion next year.

Not gonna lie, this game feels like absolute ass. I genuinely refuse to believe that 95% of these reviews aren't from bots or are paid for. I gave this almost two hours to get good, but it's so generic, bloated, and just plain boring to play. Parrying feels pointless, each weapon feels the same, and I especially despise the shoehorned in RPG mechanics that people put in every damn game now.

Easy skip. Thanks for making a demo, though, so I can save my $60!

This game was honestly a ♥♥♥♥♥♥' masterpiece. Every minute was so much fun. Even ended up getting every achievement, which was a hell of a grind. Highly recommend playing & finishing the game, though.

It's much better if you play the 7 previous Yakuza games, to be honest, but this one actually does a fantastic job at serving as an entry point for the series, too.

This was a phenomenal game. Probably my favorite RPG of 2023.

Each character & their story was really engaging.

Combat is fantastic. World was fun to explore.

This will be the best $5 you'll ever spend. One of the most fun roguelikes of all time.
