this game is very poorly designed, unskippable cutscenes, long dialogues, no chat log even after you hear a conversation, boring voice acting... I think it would be interesting with some improvements, but I will be refunding

This game is fantastic. Great art style and music. How the story pieces fall into place is very special. I would buy it again if there was another sale. The game helps you understand the twisting story in the epilogue, so there is no chance for confusion or a feeling of something missing after you finish.

it looks like a whole new game. it looks like it was made in this decade. its insane, and the performance is still up to par. totally recommend if you've played and enjoyed the originals.

I am 5000 hours in. The machine wants my elo. Tonight I played against several cheaters in several games, and will be moving back to faceit. Out of my last 6 games I have had 4 actual blatant cheaters.

Update 11/17/23:
Just played against blatant wallers/aimers. Bought scouts round 2 and HS prefired every angle, pushing spawn, etc. Knew after dying pistol round behind a wall. Fix vac live

Just played against a spinbotter for the first time. He was cheating starting on the first round. Easy 0-13 loss :D vac-live is a myth

Lost my top 1% to an aimbotter. lost the game before that because one of my teammate's game would crash every time he connected, so the second game against the hacker was a -500. fix your god forsaken game valve please it's me favorite game and it hurts

Update 3/21/24:
For the past 3 days since I got back from canada, every day I play a game either with or against cheaters. Valve please stop queuing my 5000 hour account against level 1 1 stop shopper literal bot looking accounts.

lost 2400 elo in the past 3 days from people spinbotting first round

Still playing against cheaters every day

currently in a pretty happy place with where the game is at. def still a few closet cheaters in my games, but def not as many blatant cheaters as before. switching my recommendation back to yes

I bought this game and refunded it after how poor it performed just after release. There is no way I'm going to pay that much for a game which runs at 60-80fps max on my very new hardware, on lowest settings. Even with reflex+boost, I still feel mouse lag and a lot of system lag.

edit: yeah it's better now, especially since I bought it for ~4 dollars this time
