It's alright I guess

Good stuff

You'll love this game if:

You liked classic Resident Evil and Silent Hill games.
You're into well written stories and cosmic horror.
You enjoy seeing historical and cultural references such as books, music, paintings and so on.
You like spending hours and hours digging for information about the story to better understand it.
You like to be sad.

There's a lot of content, it might be repetitive at times but it's always enjoyable to fly around with the ODM gear, surrounded by my favorite characters. Definitely not the best game out there but it definitely appeals to AoT fans.

Not only the game is full of cheaters and laggy Chinese people using VPN to join EU and NA servers, the netcode is bad. They picked the same engine as Escape from Tarkov and it suffers from the same desync problems. Game could be a lot more fun.

They recently make it a requirement to disable HVCI. You can check what that is on Microsoft's website. They're basically installing malware on your PC. Knowing who's behind the game, how they treat their playerbase and employees alike - I wouldn't be surprised that the players' information would be taken for shady reasons.

The way the story and its messages are delivered are genius.

I've been playing this for countless hours over the past few years. It's a disaster since the last DLC. It corrupts all my saves in the early 1600s, there are major issues with AE. I will not be playing this again until it's fixed and I recommend you do the same, these issues have been around for a while now and they have yet to be fixed.

Imagine paying a game hundreds of euros and it looks more like a beta than the early versions.

Definitely the successor of 1.6.
