In comparison to 2033:

+ Good story pacing.
+ More diversity in missions.
+ Game mechanics are explained more clearly.

- Not much technical improvement over 2033, but that's to be expected as they were remastered together.

I came not to send peace but a sword.

+ Good story.
+ Game doesn't take itself too seriously, it's fun.
+ Surprising variety of missions and characters.
+ Whipping mechanics.

- Some missions are an obvious filler, where only a few minutes of game play are supplemented with endless walking or riding to reach a checkpoint.
- Horse riding mechanics are frustrating.
- Minor glitches and crashes.

+ Barely any hand-holding. You're left to explore and figure stuff out in some missions.
+ Mysterious & eerie elements of the story.

- Missions and story patterns got a bit repetitive - "Go to station X with Y, kill, oh no you're now alone, kill more, repeat".
- Some game mechanics aren't explained at all, had to use google.

Cult classic, would recommend.

One of very few games that actually inspired me to make a review. It contains a great combination of enjoyable gameplay and humor. The game not taking itself too seriously helps too. You're gonna be left wishing for sequels to top the experience and heartbroken.
