AITA for storing 2750 tonnes of ammonium nitrates in the Beirut Port?

So I'm (17M) the head of the Lebanese Customs and with the approval of the relevant political authorities I've allowed 2750 tonnes of ammonium nitrates to be stored in the Beirut Port for several years. Following a rather large accident, they (the aforementioned political authorities) are accusing me of negligence and have arrested me even though they've previously turned a blind eye to the problem.
