Tried every fix, every graphics option and I just couldn't make the gamer run at more than 2 fps. I really wanted to give this game a try, but it's literally unplayable for me.

Where do horses go when they’re sick? The horsepital.

I just finished playing the game, and I loved every single minute of it. The missions were perfectly paced—never too long or too short—and the game's overall flow felt pretty good. But what truly stood out to me was the sound design and the ABSOLUTELY-GOOSEBUMPIER GOD-TIER SOUNDTRACK and the INCREDIBLE voice acting!

For the gameplay, let’s get the bad out of the way first… THE BIKE MISSIONS. Seriously, WHAT THE F&CK?! The bikes in this game are ridiculously hard to control and they handle like absolute A§§! It’s easily the most frustrating part of the game.

That said, the cars feel fantastic to drive. You can choose between arcade-style driving or simulation mode (which I did). Simulation mode makes the cars feel heavier, meaning they accelerate slower, turn with more difficulty, and require more braking distance. You can also choose between automatic and manual transmission. Overall the driving feels really good for me.


The shooting mechanics feel old but solid. While the weapon selection is somewhat limited—mostly shotguns, pistols, and the legendary Tommy Gun, the combat is satisfying. In most fights you go from cover to cover, shooting and switching up weapons until everyone is dead.


The game is short, there’s no way around that. If it wasn't for the Free Ride mode, which adds extra side missions after completing the story, the game would feel even shorter. Collectibles of all sorts, scattered through the story missions and the free roam pad the game even more.

Overall I recommend the Mafia: Definitive Edition, but not on full price.

I had played this game for a few hours in a free weekend, and recently (02/11/2024) bought this game for 1€ on Humble Bundle.

I don't want to go too much in-depth, but I do want to talk about a few things.

First of all I want to talk about the enemy Machines. The design of the enemies are really good. And that's all the positives - Seriously. The enemies are SPONGEY, they are really REALLY DUMB, and there are only 6 type of enemies, all with different faction "skins".

The gun-play is GOOD. I like how the gun customization works, and the RNG for the weapon mods is ok. The gun variety is really good. The BEST part is the impact the weapons have on the enemies. When you hit an enemy with a missile, or when you snipe an enemy from 300m away, you can FEEL the damage you did. You see them lose pieces of their armor, you see sparks when you hit their weak-spots. The gun-play is the best part of the game.

The game also features a weak story, skill points when you level up, crafting (ammo, health packs and other resources), basic stuff you see in every "survival" game. No need to eat or drink, thank GOD!

The worst part of the game, especially for an hoarder like me, is the weight limit of your character and the inventory management, Seriously, it drives me INSANE! I got to pick up everything I see, but then I can't move cause I'm over-encumbered.

TL:DR is, for 1€ I can't complain. Maybe I'll write a decent, less convulsing review in the future.

Bought it in the steam summer sale 2024, right before the 1.0 Update was announced. I was unsure about buying it, but since I love Factorio, I decided to give this game a try. Haven't stopped playing it since I bought it. If you like Factory Games, this is a must play.
