To be short, Path of Exile is what Diablo 3 should have been. While Path of Exile's mechanics and skill systems can be a bit overwhelming at first, there is a strong community that constantly puts out build guides for beginners and experienced players alike. The skill and skill tree system is complicated at first but easy to figure out. This complexity lets you make some really unique and fun builds. Also If you're a weirdo like me and you care about interesting stories and lore, the game has an interesting story progression and decent world building as well.

The developers constantly add new content on a regular basis and the online leagues that reset every couple of months keep game play fresh no matter how many times you've played through the game.

If you're looking for that Diablo 2 loot ARPG then Path of Exile should be right up your alley.

If you liked Dark Souls 1 then you should be at home with Dark Souls 3. The game still has the same qualities you expect from a Souls game such as challenging gameplay, great visuals, an amazing soundtrack and an interesting but often vague lore. While its a much truer sequel to Dark Souls than Dark Souls 2 the game isn't without some flaws. The level designs and overall feel of the world and atmosphere is no where near as good as the first Dark Souls. The game definently feels like the height of what FROM can bring to the series. But that aside if you are a fan of the series then DS3 will give you the git gud gameplay you probably have come to enjoy you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masochist.
