Hollow Knight is the most beautiful and challenging Metroidvania I've ever experienced to over 100% completion. I can't believe this game actually sat in my Library for years before I finally played it. Once you get past the early game frustration, the entirety of Hallownest opens up, and when it clicks, it stays with you forever.

Breath of fresh air. Perception-shattering CRPG. One of a kind.

Definitely not for everyone, but the good thing is--- you can find out whether if it is or isn't for you--- mere minutes into the game.
