Overview
ARK: Survival Evolved is a great game, that is if you don't mind grinding, dying repeatedly, and raging occasionally. It has 4 great maps, lots of unique dinosaurs, and cool building system.

Singleplayer and Multiplayer
The singleplayer aspect of the game is great. You can choose what gathering rates, taming rates, and many other rates you want. This can increase or decrease the grind. SIngleplayer also means no player threats, so strictly PvE.
The multiplayer of ARK is also great, and a lot of fun. With other players, there comes new challenges, such as being raided or killed, or benefits, like free loot or dinos. However, multiplayer is much grindier, and you will run into your fair share of players that are complete jerks, that live you troll or bully you.
