I played over two hundred hours of this when it first released back in 2012, it was as fun then as it is now. I am pleasantly surprised to see there still is an active community to this game, given its tighter controls and ability to run smoother then it's "remake/sequel".

Skyrim is a game quite like no other, it got me into the Elder Scrolls series as a whole. The frozen northern lands are a setting I never tire of and feel I can always come back to. Sure it may not have all the bells and whistles Morrowind had, or the meme capability Oblivion had. Skyrim will forever be however my favourite game of all time.

SPOILERS:

A post apocalyptic dark fantasy world where your soul wanders endlessly, forever chasing the very creature that filled your dreams in life. This game restored my faith in abstract artistic style games, from start to finish I was drawn in. From the stories if the grand kingdoms that came before, the terrible and awe inspiring creatures that roamed its wastes.

The music and atmosphere really help to feel like your in some kind of trippy dream state while exploring the halls of this massive labyrinth like world. The graphics are breathtaking and feel almost like something out of the crazy twisted worlds of lovecraft. Its short if you decide to gun for the exit, but take the time to explore every nook and cranny and you will find a world filled with immense lore of a world already at the end of its days.

Very entertaining an scary, a perfect reminder that it doesn't take the best in graphics to deliver a scary good time.

Loved it, have been looking for a good quality interactive horror tale on steam for a while. Lovecraftian in nature is also a bonus in my books, 10/10 would go to orange world again.

Absolutely beautiful, the game scared me, it drew me in, and by its closing it rendered me to tears. This game is absolutly worth a playthrough, you are denying yourself an experience by skipping playing this game.

I have gotten 2 endings so far, bad and infected. This demo has done nothing but increase my excitment for the new Resident Evil by 100 percent. Great Atmosphere, great monster designs, and a great setting.

This game was once something I could get behind. A good soundtrack though rather reminiscent of certain other RPG games, decent sprite work, and a story with moderate good flow and characters. But this game in my opinion does not really live up to the hype or deserve it overwhelming praise.

Let's look at all the pros of this game:

- good paced music
- good for at least 2 play throughs with genocide and pacifist
- characters though overpraised are still likeable

These points combined with the fact that Toby Fox is an indie developer is impressive.

But there is a problem, this game is hardly the concoction of one person's imagination. Between the many obvious inspirations drawn from other similar games Toby modded before, to soundtrack a little too similar to those of games over a decade old is uncanny. I am not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the developer get, game development is hard and cudos to Fox for making something this big.

But my biggest problem is at the core of the popularity of Undertale vs other indie games and the community itself. The fact that Toby was not a one man army is often ignored by people, a common excuse given by people blindly defending the game is that he worked alone.

Tony had help, from the actual user Temie (yes Temie is the title of a artist who helped Toby), as well as the plentiful people providing additional ideas and character concepts.

People ignore this fact and worship a false image of a one man game making machine, the sad part is projects better than this game has solo creators and received none of the attention.

If people would like to stick to RPG themed projects then one must turn no farther then Bethesda fans. The mods for another acclaimed RPG Skyrim give up years of their life to make brand new worlds, mods so massive and packed with delicious content that it would take 1000 Undertales to hold a candle to them. Falskar, Enderal, the forgotten city which has literally won a writing award. All these amazing projects and the authors never received a penny or wanted any. They create for the enjoyment of others even better...and yet we are swooning over ludicrous spaghetti memes?

This brings me to the main problem I have with this community is the cash in fandoms. Things like Undertale have so many Alternative universe's that are exactly the same it makes me ill. Most are pure cringe or pure drivel and keep people from actually enjoying the game normally.

I have gotten off track and shall end here, between overpraise and cringe community I am done with this game.
