Left Alive has its flaws, but I'm going to give it a recommended. If you enjoy the world of Front Mission and are not locked into its turn based tactics gameplay, I think you can enjoy this game. The atmosphere is terrific (assuming you turn off the ridiculous World of Tanks DLC ads). Wanzers feel quite imposing when on foot, which you don't get in the mainline games.

After reading about the difficulty I decided to play on an easier setting and it felt a bit too easy, but I could easily imagine it quickly becoming too hard. Late game Wanzer combat, which is similar to Front Mission Evolved, is the only time I had a slight bit of trouble on the easier difficulty.

Enemy combat reactions are a bit goofy, and it does have some crashing issues, but I enjoyed my time in Left Alive. Maybe wait for a sale though.

Short and sweet. Great for a quick brain teaser.

Into the Breach is easy to pick up and play, offering gameplay that can feel a bit more puzzle-like than full on strategy. There is a good amount of mech and weapon variety that allows for new ways of solving each region. Though it can be tricky at times, it's very rewarding to complete an island perfectly. An overall enjoyable experience with great music as well.

FTL straddles the line between challenging and frustrating. The RNG nature of it can be offputting initially, and will still sometimes cause some rage, but there is enough skill and planning in it to really make you enjoy your victories.

Stardew Valley is outstanding. The attention to detail and polish done by ConcernedApe is nothing short of incredible. He's captured everything I love about the Harvest Moon series and given it new life.

If you have ever enjoyed a Harvest Moon game, or are just looking for a game to relax with, give Stardew Valley a play.

Jazzpunk is a short game, taking less than four hours to complete, but there is a lot of humor and many laughs to be had.

Life is Strange is an emotional ride through an incredible world filled with engaging characters. It's very easy to become attached to the various personalities involved and anxious to see what comes next. Exploring little details in the world between story progressions is relaxing and rewarding.
