Game breaking bug in multiplayer causing sessions to corrupt past Cold War era makes this game unplayable, friends don't want to invest yet another 6 hours into a lost campaign. Devs have been aware of this issue for ages and yet it is still not fixed.

Enjoy the game but I cannot recommend it until the game breaking Co-op issues are fixed since I purchased specifically to play with friends.

3rd player joining always kicks the 2nd player from the session. That player joining back will kick the other player who just joined.

Sometimes players just can't refuel in Co-op requiring a bunch of teleporting around to fuel up for them.

Steam invites straight up don't work, requiring us to use the crossplay codes even though we're all on the same platform.

Apparently there are plentiful posts online showing these issues have existed for *at least* a year which is inexcusable and seems to point to there not really being any interest in fixing any of these issues. With Expeditions coming out in a month, I'm guessing that's the case. Save your money, see if Expeditions has working multiplayer before you buy.

if you create media, play this game. if you consume creative media, play this game. no one person will understand every detail of this game, but those parts which do speak to you personally - as a player, as a creator, as a human being - speak volumes. this game is beautiful, and it is ugly. it is happy, and it is sad. it is so utterly personal, and yet it is near-universal to the human experience. not unlike life, this game is a series of contradictions.
