After 11+ years on this game I can gladly say that I've enjoyed my time on War Thunder. This game will make you angry like no other game, but it will also bring tons of enjoyment and fulfillment. The Devs amid their flaws, do an amazing job modeling Aircraft/Combat vehicles and have a keen eye for detail.
Game flaws
--from start to top tier in most countries on war thunder It will take you about 1 year of playing 5-10 matches to reach top tier. This game is VERY grind intensive.
--The Current Top tier meta for jets is absolutely screwed up. advanced missiles have ruined an aspect of the dog fighting element in top tier and the developers must decide the course that this game follows whether its objective based combat, smaller match sizes, or Nerfing Fox 3 missiles.
--getting sniped by Fox 3s from miles away takes away a lot of fun from top tier.
--F4E going up against F16s and F18s is criminal.

+Accurate destruction/ballistics.
+Awesome blend between arcade and realistic gameplay.
+ youll always have a vehichle to research.
+not pay to win (ive spent around $150 in 10 years).
+realistic flight models/aircraft performance.
