Genuinely superb, perhaps even one of the greatest, but will require a properly deranged degree of persistence to enjoy, as it'll usually take at least 110+ hours to finish the base game + DLC, and 60% of those hours is mostly you being murdered repeatedly and reloading saves

Would recommend, it's quite short, like you can finish the whole thing in less than 6 hours if you didn't struggle with the backtracking and the puzzles. Nice scares, eggsellent aesthetics, combat is alright. It's the kind of game you'd remember it for a long while, but you wouldn't replay it anytime in the future once you've finished it.

Would Recomnend, but only if you're genuinely so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the head, you think level design with 80 flights of stairs is "Hillarious" and "Amusing".

Superb at first, particularly your first 20-40 hours, but the further you get the more unfinished it is, as a result it's still okay, but it could've been greater. There's a whole of updates taking place fortunately so it's a matter of time, but until then it would be wiser to wait if you can, you'll enjoy it much more then.

Exquisite.
Gunplay is excellent but feels very odd at first but you get used to it. Mostly because the SMGs and ARs only fire in Burst or full Auto. So one taps will always result in firing of burst shots, and the recoil is mostly accumulated by how long you fire while in full auto. Once you get used to it, it's great.
They say the game is apparently supposed to be scary, but it also has a lot of humor too. If you already like games such as Half Life, you will love it.
