For fans of the tabletop and those of RTS in general, Dark Crusade is a fantastic game. While there are balance issues and its visuals have not aged particularly great, the setting combined with the gameplay create an addicting experience that I still play with friends today. There is also a good number of mods, increasing scale or bringing things 'Closer to Codex' which when applied I argue is when this gem begins to shine. Surprisingly the community still sees activity today.
