I cannot recommend this game. I bought it for the first time and returned it after 8 minutes. I bought it again at a discount and tried to immerse myself in the game for a few hours (it turned out to be 7.5 hours in total).

In my opinion, this is a big step backwards—the strategy and tactics are ridiculous and primitive, the graphics are worse than in Attila, and the mechs completely kill the strategy. And the biggest downside is the disgusting, vomit-inducing world of Warhammer. I tried it, but I didn't see any positives in the game. I definitely do not recommend it.

After playing it, Pharaoh seems like a cool game)) I need to cleanse myself with Second Rome!

Truly a great game, a solid 8 out of 10 for sure. Most of the things I don’t like are purely subjective — I just don’t know the history of the Bronze Age as well as I do Antiquity.
One major downside is the absence of the sea, but that’s something to blame on the head office, not the top-tier team in Sofia.
The diplomacy in this game is so strong it makes Rome 2 feel a bit outdated now))
It’s a genuinely powerful title — finally a full-fledged historical game. I’ve already put in 212 hours, and I’ll keep playing. Huge thanks for the deep customization options.

P.S. The battles are pretty tough — last time I got beaten this hard wasn’t even in Attila, but in Shogun 2!)

За всіх мінусів та дещо застарілої графіки це абсолютно легендарна гра, яка зберігає актуальність навіть в 2025. Так чи інакше це маст хев для всіх любителів Античності. Однозначно рекомендую.
