Movement of both player and ship is garbage without mods.

really poor optimization and this includes a game-breaking memory leak that will inevitably occur regardless of how much available VRAM you have

collision issues galore

only two types of ship loadouts make sense to use until changes (one solo, one solo+)

modding makes slight improvements but developer is somewhat aggressively against updating the game in a timely manner for even large problems

Game Discord server is full of bootlicking elitists, maybe or maybe not including myself

I'd stay away if I had to do it over.

Excellent immersion: wonderful voice acting, environments, music, sound design, gameplay. It feels like 40K.

Active updates: Devs are both communicative and actively adding fixes and content, more than one a week so far.

Update March 10: Most of what was intended to be the crafting in the game has been implemented and many of the technical issues have been fixed. Further gameplay tuning and content are probably next up.

Updates paused for a very long time around the holidays, so "active updates" didn't apply for what seemed like 2 months.

It's not horrible. Still supported. Just updated to 5.0 a couple weeks ago even though it was released 5 years ago. It's $6 or less and still Tekken.
