Fun times.

Whimsical music makes me happy in the face.

I'd speak to all the things i love about this game but i'd just be repeating so much of what everyone else is saying. This game is great. It has so much depth and is a great way to spend a few hours disembowling your prisoners and selling their organs on the global market.

10/10 would purge my psychotic tendencies again.

i see a lot of negative reviews of this game but i'm not one of them. Does it have problems? Yes. Is it still fun? Yes. I play every day and though i do see some hackers now and again it is far less frequently than it used to be. I love the game.

Regardless of the cons posted by others this game is a ton of fun and I think it's worth a shot. it wouldn't have so many players if it was so god awful it couldn't be played. I will admit i have more fun with a squad of friends than i do just playing solo but that's just because of the stories we can tell after pulling off some stupid crazy #&@!

The game is just fun, plain and simple. Frustrating sometimes, but fun. Even the negative reviewers often have hundreds of hours in. if you don't think hundreds of hours is worth 20-30 bucks...i don't know what kind of game you're looking for. Do your own math...Love it or shove it.

If you have any love for a TheSims style game...at all...this game is fun. A lot of fun and extremely well done, especially for it's time. You play as the ghosts in this funny haunting game...the object to try and scare the people out of the house/building whatever...In some cases, you must drive them crazy instead...it can actually get very challenging...but it's quite comical and a lot of fun...and this sale for 1.24 makes it a no brainer...

Big thumbs up for Sick Puppies (the creators...not actual sick pup....nvm...you're sick...you're just not right in the head).

TL;DR Original review at bottom. This review is old. X-com 2 and various expansions have been released and quite honestly just upgraded on this game. The sequel and War of the chosen expansion to it are excellent games and I don't think you'd miss much if you skipped this one to play those first. The story, i suppose, but you'll get over it.



Yes, have some. HUGE fan of the original. The original ties for first place on my top games of all time list...so it was a no brainer to pick up the new one. I'm pleased. There are definitely some things missing that I would have liked to see more of...but overall, this game is a lot of fun...and challenging...one of the main reasons i liked the original so much was the challenge of it all. This game is a great addition to your collections.
