Solid game! Movement is on point and gameplay is fun. I'd say some stuff feels cheap but that's a good thing, it means that the rest doesn't!

Screen shaking for glory kills, more animation on the UI (I felt like only the main menu and HUD were animated) and additional color changes would be cool.

OST is well composed and fits the theming of the game. The general level design is alright, a bit more visual indicators on where to go would be nice (my biggest issue here was when needing to turn around, an arrow or something would help quite a lot).

If you aren't a fan of boomer shooters, pass. If you like Mirror's Edge and Doom, go for it!

I love Portal Prelude! be careful though, some of its levels can get very frustrating and some of them are about timing other than puzzle solving, so if you don't really like that, I recommend not playing. The voice acting and stuff is pretty cool!

Absolutely recommend it, lot of soul went into this game and you can tell! It's full of life and is generally super fun!

I would just say that the ton of changes to the first levels feel incredibly overwhelming if you've just played the SAGE demo and it felt a bit everywhere, that's my only complaint.

Jabroni Brawl is an awesome sourcemod for Source nerds, I love how chaotic the game can be and what it is despite it's little flaws.

I'll talk a bit about the flaws;

First off, I wish the game was a bit more balanced, the more players there are on a server, the more you want to start praying to get a good weapon since it's all randomized.

And, I will edit this one out once it's fixed but the hitreg is pretty bad on this game, sometimes I notice that I had good aim but the game registers like 65%~ of my hits (it worsens with ping), at least the damage indicator tells me which one clearly hit and which one didn't for now.

Before this edit, I mentioned gamemodes being a bit repetitive but ever since, they added a RTV system, reworked Headhunt and reworked the mapvote screen, so this is now better.

Other than that;

There's a ton of variety for the weapons, opening to a variety of different playstyles, they also have fancy models and animations, which feels pretty fresh.

There's also a massive catalogue of maps available in the game, even some crossover stuff, and that's pretty cool.

There's a whole lot of gamemodes and it's hard to be bored since there's so a bunch of stuff to play, bots also are available if there aren't any players or you just want to play alone.

I don't even know where to start, everything about EZ2 is good, I liked the first but found it a bit generic (it was good though but felt like waves of rebels sometimes) and decided to try out the second.

The new weapon animations are excellent and the voice acting is great, I really like how the game gives a lot of personality to the protagonist with the ton of extra lines added, almost every action in the game has a custom line for your character which contributes a lot.

The story isn't too bad either, I've seen negative ratings stating that the game felt like a fanfiction or too edgy but to me, it makes sense, we're talking about the Combine so I personally can't find a reason why it wouldn't be edgy. I didn't find it extremely edgy either but maybe for some it can be annoying, which is a thing I can understand.

What surprised me at first was the title screen, with this defective turret on it, I was actually surprised that we get through Portal and that there was a lot of Portal stuff, which made the experience more enjoyable, I also really like Wilson and that the game indirectly tells you to keep him with you.

I will say, this is the part where the story got me a bit confused but then after it was fine, the game basically implies that in Half-Life 2 you just don't get to see this stuff but it still makes sense in the lore.

Honestly, this feels like a great experience, I had no bugs, at all, you can tell that this project was tested and tested due to how polished everything is.
I wasn't able to find a single flaw in the gameplay, it works well, mechanics are fun and compared to the first (or many sorucemods), I didn't get lost, the level design is pretty much flawless.

TL;DR Download it and play it, it's free. Much better than the recent terrible AAAs.

good way to play half life in coop and its free

Good game, got completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by something I don't even know why it happened.

You can see that I did play a lot of the game, enough to see the basics, decided to bring a friend, world broke not once, but thrice, lost everything that I made over these hours. (vanilla 1.4 btw, no modded or anything, literally playing the game like anyone would do)

For a 2011 game, thought that it would be more stable tbh.
Do not use Steam Cloud Saving, I think that's the problem.

Good looking mod that fits vanilla HL2, this part could've been added in HL2 without being out of place or anything.
