Amazing game, what else do you want to hear? Go play it if you haven't already. And if you have played it, go play it again!

GOTY, for sure!

I haven't been this invested in the state of a game for years. And when the time came to fight for FREEDOM, we took on the biggest treat of all... SONY!

I am looking forward to all the game has to offer in the future!

I really enjoyed the game thus far and I will for some time to come, because it is quite hard.
I won't spoil the story in this review.

For those who haven't played the first one, you wont be missing out by not buying that one and playing this in stead.

The gameplay
Simular to the first one, the game revolves completely around handling handguns (of various shapes and sizes). You reload your gun the same way you would a real firearm with the same steps. This is surprisingly difficult when you are in tough situations and might lead to your death.

Players of the first game will notice that there are quite a few extra steps when handling your firearm and if you don't tread carefully you will end up shooting yourself in the leg.

Levels are randomly generated and after the 20 hours I have been playing they are getting somewhat repetitive. This is on one side a very good thing because it will help you focus on what's important, mainly your gun.

The Animations are really smooth, give you a feeling of real weight to the weapon and sense that all your actions matter. Like following through on a trigger pull for example.

Downsides
Like I said I wont spoil anything about the story. At the very start you learn you will need to listen to tapes that you find throughout the level. There are quite a few but you will eventually get through all of them and hear them many times. This got a little repetitive after a while.

The only thing I really have issue with is that you go down a level every time you quit the game. This happens when you die as well, which I think is a good thing. But when you quit is just a punishment I could do without.

Overall a fun game, good story and extremely challenging.

Being a alpha still, Overgrowth has to be polished if it can be called a compete game. But dont let that stop you from getting it.

Overgrowht has great gameplay. The game can be very difficult at times, with smart enemy AI and weapons that would kill you just as fast as in real life. The fighting goes hand in hand with the parcour. Walljumps and ledge climbing can get you almost anywhere, but they can be just as usefull when outnumbered to escape or make counter attack easier to pull off.

Graphic whise the game looks pretty nice, every species has it's own culture and with it weapons, clothing and more. For now the rabbit's appear to be the main focus. However, there are more kinds of characters implemented allready

Concluding, the game in this stage has some very interesting gameplay mechanics but is'nt finished right now.
Overgrowht is a promising game and I can't wait to see the final product.
