HOME RUN SIMULATOR 2023

One of my favorite games of all time remastered with better graphics and visuals, It's definitely one of the best zombie survival/story games ever made the story is fine and compliments the gameplay well, even more when you play the Ryder
White DLC, there's also a LOT of collectibles and many of them are missable which makes the game more replayable and interesting, sadly in this definitive edition version of this game there's also some glitches and bugs that weren't there before, one of them is the collectible document Banoi Herald Excerpt 33 which is inside a building that's basically impossible to get in. The different characters with all their different skill trees make this game very replayable and there's even an achievement for playing on all 4 characters. The weapon modding in this game is pretty much top notch when it comes to modding melee weapons, there's a ton of different blueprints to find and test out. The open world is also fun and pretty unique I can't name any open-world where there's a tropical resort area with a luxury hotel, a city full of slums, jungle with a hidden laboratory in it and a whole prison island in one single open-world. The soundtrack/music score is also pretty good and fits well in the game overall.

The best pve survival game i have ever played. This game is so addicting and good it might as well just replace your real life, you literally forget what you are doing irl while playing this, the progression system is perfect, the map size is perfect, the session based mission system is perfect.

Mirror's Edge is a ''must play'' for anyone who likes parkour games or is looking to play one for the first time, it has a smooth gameplay with combat against enemies going fine with the flow of smooth parkour, mainly the combat consists of punching and kicking but you can also pickup weapons and use them against your enemies, you can even run with a couple of them. The story is mediocre and leaves some unanswered questions after you complete it, it succeeds in keeping the player interested wanting to know what happens next, some of the decisions that the characters make don't make any sense. Though the story isn't a factor in players wanting to come back to this game, i would like to see a sequel to this and i'm not talking about Mirror's Edge Catalyst, that game is another story not connected to this one in any way. The graphics are basic 2008 quality but when compared to many other games of that era i feel like this game thrives in making the outside areas look beautiful but also sync perfectly with the gameplay and story.the artstyle of cutscenes is unique and works surprisingly in this game the characters kinda look the same as in Archer (TV-series), you would think that with cutscenes like that the characters would look stupid when encountered in actual gameplay but they somehow managed to make it so that the characters look the same in both gameplay and cutscene environment. If i had to say two of the best things in this game, they would be: parkour and cutscene artstyle. I would also say that this is the best game for someone looking to play a parkour game for the first time, it has all the parkour basics and basically teaches you how to move without stopping while fighting enemies at the same time, going from this game to one like Dying Light for example will be child's play when you have the basics of parkour in your skillset.

TLDR: Best parkour game for newcomers with mediocre story.

BEST GAME OF 2021. When looking the game from an FPS standpoint and comparing it to it's rivals (COD: Vanguard and BF 2042) it's simply a perfect game to me atleast, i feel like it walks the fine line between being a more arcadey shooter like COD and being more competitive based and tactical like Rainbow: Six Siege. This is one of the few games released recently that have had pretty much a perfect launch, the maps are good and built around the game-modes you play, no weapon is too op or too weak and they all feel unique and have a place in the game. The game respects what Halo has been from the beginning while also adding just enough new features for the game not to feel too old or unoriginal. Only negatives i have to add are:

No proper fullscreen mode

The sound coming from behind you is mumbled and distorted unless you set your headset's settings right

There's no default customization pieces for your spartans meaning everyone who starts playing the game look identical until they unlock new pieces to the armor from the battle pass.
