Cute and short game where you collect bugs and make little kids cry, 5/5 stars

Game of the year, without a doubt.

Story: The plot is unpredictable, genuinely engaging, and filled with incredibly likable characters. I can’t think of another game that had me crying within the first hour.

Combat: It’s turn-based, but the parry/dodge mechanics keep you actively involved. Each character has unique attacks and different synergies with others, so the combat never gets boring. If you’re hesitant because it’s turn-based, you might be surprised that you actually have to pay attention, or most enemies will end up wiping your party.

Music: Absolutely god-tier. One moment you’re head-bopping through a battle, and the next you’re crying during a cutscene.

Negatives: I’m not a fan of the romance, and I think the game would’ve been better without it, but you don’t have to romance anyone. The game also throws all of its combat, skills, healing, and equipment mechanics at you right from the start, which was overwhelming at first, but everything clicks the more you play.

Score: 10/10

Very fun resource management game with good replay value because there are unique achievements and 6 different endings to go for. The only issue I have with the game is that some of the achievements don't unlock upon completion (such as “Environmentalist” and “Rocket Science”), but hopefully this will be fixed soon :) .
