I would only recommend this game in its current state if you want to support the developers. But if you're a skateboarding game fan, I think you should. There's a lot of promise here and hey it's only $5. But at this point it's a $5 donation (I have seen it on sale and the devs do give out free codes sometimes).

This game is early, early access. It really pushes the envelope of what "early access" means. I would say it's more unfinished than the vast majority of early access titles on Steam. Which is why I almost wish I could not give it a thumbs up or down as it's a special case of not being very review-able. Even for someone who is big on skateboarding games, I'm not getting much out of the game itself. But I'm defaulting to a thumbs up because a thumbs down feels uncalled for.

But for me, the value isn't in the game itself. It will be hanging on the Discord, getting involved, and watching a game be made by a passionate group. And then using the $5 I spent to experience the progress first hand and following along.
