I had refunded this game at launch, though at this point I couldn't remember why. It wasn't until I got it again that I remembered the bugging mess it had been.

That being said, if you're a Princess Maker vet. you'll likely find this a little too easy, but it scratches that itch quite nicely!

The dialog is nicely translated and quite a bit of care was put there.... the interface however still has quite a few spelling errors or incorrect words. My first play through was about 12 hours long (a bit much, tbh for this style of game) but I did it in nearly one sitting so theres that.... All in all worth the $12CAN price tag for me and I will be giving it another go! Gotta try for that evil route~

I've very much enjoyed my time with this game. They are still adding new updates! My hope is more content involving the other tribe members, more events and stories with the people. Even seeing more interactions they have with each other would be nice.

I loved this game. I had 100% it at one point, but then they added more free content. How dare they! ;) I'm excited for more. I've already beat the second of this series and excited for more. Awesome little chill game.

Quick Take: Wait to buy a bit longer! The devs have a clear roadmap of whats to come. At the time of this review this is really just the foundation of the game, and even then some things (like combat) are set for a rework.

I have played these style of games since the genre was born back during the NES days. All those "its just like SDV" really should play more within the genre. This version has a great current modern take. Also the tropical nature of the setting (ocean exploring and mermaids? Yes please~) are a delight from the more rustic country-side. There are so many townies as well that I'm excited to get to know them.

So while the story-line isnt really in place quite yet, I've been enjoying building up my farm, unlocking the mines and cleaning the ocean.

Love this game. Would play it mostly with a cup of tea in the morning to relax.

Took out things to sell them back as DLC... Also posts crazy unhinged rants in their patch notes.

Again, we need a "meh" option. I went into this blind, not knowing how things work. You are locked into your route right away without even knowing whos-who before you pick. Not a huge issue but not great it you're looking for a certain guy.

But really... you don't get to talk. Ever. Its all the spirit in your head and whoever it talking at you. Even as you regain memories, you still never hear your side of things which is just strange. It makes for this odd disconnect. I didn't feel involved. Didn't help that I have zero idea why i was with a guy I might have hated? I didn't end up finishing the route, only good a few hours it. Not for me though.

The dad jokes were great, the dads are all layered and i had a good time playing.

I did find 3 dates too short to really learn about the men. The dad I ended up with I never even found out what happened with the mother of his kid, which seems a bit odd. Also the endings for some of the dad's didnt match up with the tone of my relationships with them during my play (like it only takes into account the dates and not the extra interactions)

I still enjoyed it!

Been playing since EA. Love it! Though I still wish there was a bit more farming ;)
