This game is amazing!
I am about 75% through the game at the time of writing this review.

The landscape, the music, the innovative and laid back gameplay, the story, all amazingly well done in this beautiful and gripping story about a trek through the ruins of post-apocalyptic America to connect the surviving people spread out over the land.
Walking through the beautiful landscape of post-apocalyptic America, while being conducted by the amazingly well produced music, is a wonderfully relaxing experience in itself.
While the game is comfy and laid back most of the times sometimes you will find yourself butt-clenching your way out of a tight situation. With the cool and innovative weapons that are given to you as you progress through the story.
Another thing that you get as you progress is different types of vehicles. Although the mechanic of using this vehicle was a bit confusing at first, when i got how it worked, they were super nice to drive (tip: use your odradek scanner and try to only drive over green colored parts)
This being a Kojima game of course means the story can be a bit confusing at times, but this also means we get the lovely style of humour sprinkled over the game.

The game is fun, but..You are forced to create an Epic games account, which is not worth it

A great game with some big flaws.
The concept of the game is great, big map, 100 players, GO HAM!
and the mechanics of the game are mostly great;
the gunplay is satisfying and rewards skill full play
the original map is well designed and fun to play

but things like vehicle physics could be better, or physics in general.
It would also be nice to be able to play an offline game to train, with a nice menu to spawn things in.
It should also be easier to play with friends in my opinion. you are too reliant on the servers to play, and you dont get many freedoms.

these are things that could be fixed, and the dev team is definetely capable so we will see.

A great game to lose your sense of time in singleplayer, or have great laughs with friends in multiplayer.
CIV V is one of the greatest comfy laidback strategy games i have ever played! To this day I'd rather play CIV V than Civ 6
