Neon Striker Review – Stylish, Fun, But Buggy in Multiplayer

Neon Striker is a stylish and addictive indie shooter with a ton of potential. The ship variety is excellent, and the weapon customization system is a standout — letting you tailor your loadout to your playstyle and strategize for different scenarios. Whether you're sniping from afar or charging in with heavy fire, the game gives you the tools to make it your own.

However, the multiplayer experience is where things fall apart. Players frequently fall out of sync, which leads to confusing skirmishes, broken gameplay states, and, at times, outright crashes. It’s frustrating, especially since the core combat is so satisfying when it works.

If you're in it for the solo or local play, Neon Striker is a blast. But if you're hoping for a smooth online experience, you might want to hold off until the devs patch things up.

The concept is great and honestly I found this game a lot of fun except for the player aspects. In the game there is the option of a PvP server and a PvE server. No realism in PvE so thats no fun. But it seems like everyone in PvP is intent on killing their fellow survivors simply because they can. The idea that you can kill your fellow survivors doesn't mean you should. The fact that you can tell someone you're friendly and then 2 minutes later they find a gun and decide to shoot you down... it just make the game feel like a glorified version of COD when there's not penalty to discourage shooting your fellow player and it takes the fun out of the game when everyone you try to communicate with just wants to gun you down. Lets not even get started with the hacking. If you actually wanna play a game for surviving the zombie apocalypse, maybe this isn't for you cause the zombies are a joke and the players see no benefit in each other besides being a sack of meat for target practice.
