I am a huge fan of movement-based games like Tribes and surfing in CS. I knew Jet Island would be for me as soon as I saw the trailer. However, given that this was made by a single developer, I was only expecting a fun sandbox for the movement; I didn't have high expectations as far as progression or gameplay.

I was shocked to find not only the most compelling movement I've experienced in VR to date but also an extremely feature-rich, polished game with jaw-dropping bosses, obstacles courses, and a deep sense of progression when moving about the open world. If you happen to have some friends who also have VR headsets, co-op in this game also works way better than I could have expected and made for one of the best gaming experiences I've had in recent memory.

It's hard to overstate how impressive of an achievement this *game* is. I emphasize game because I've basically come to expect very little from VR games as most of them are unpolished, alpha-release experiences. Jet Island is truly a complete package and an absolute delight to play.
