Elite Dangerous was once an incredible and immersive experience that could captivate players for countless hours. However, the release of the Odyssey expansion marked a steep decline in the game's quality.Odyssey's introduction brought with it a slew of unfinished features that severely detracted from the overall gameplay experience. These half-baked additions not only frustrated myself, but also demonstrated a lack of care and consideration FDev.To make matters worse, FDev's decisions following the launch of Odyssey effectively alienated entire platforms of players, further tarnishing their reputation within the gaming community. I would strongly advise potential buyers to consider spending their hard-earned money elsewhere. It's truly disheartening to see a once-beloved game brought so low by a series of misguided decisions, and it's important for prospective players to understand the current state of Elite Dangerous before diving in.

This game has a very cool way of telling a story, the cuts between characters and the split screen was really cool.
The game included pretty good voice acting, fast pace story and a lot really cool game elements. During the game you could stop to play Horseshoes, Darts and even see who can balance themselves the longest of a wheelchair. WOW!

The game only lasted around 4.5-5 hours total, and honestly if my friend and I weren't screwing around most of the time we could of probably finished even faster. For $30, I don't think this is worth the money. If you can find the game < $5 I would definitely say go for it -- or if you have the game on EA Play go for it!

Pros:
- You only need one copy to play with a friend. (Remote Play Together)
- Great way to pass time.
- Interesting story
- Great laughs here and there.

Cons:
- Sometimes the story made 0 sense.
- Ending was pretty bad.
- The controls felt kinda weird in certain situations.
- Game was overall really short.

While this game is an overall great experience with friends, I have to amend my original "Very good" so people understand better what they're looking at.

This game was a lot of fun when it released, but it got boring very fast. If you learned all of the ghost behaviors you could pretty much speed run the levels. If you enjoyed speed running that wasn't a bad thing. Eventually everyone wanted new maps, and we got one and it was overall a terrible experience. The large maps are not fun with 4 players, their needs to be bigger teams introduced with these large maps. This mainly stems from the newer mechanics and how temperature works in the game. It used to be as simple as just finding the ghost room based on the temperature dropping below a certain threshold. Now all ghosts roam, and there is always some type of new bug that is ruining the player experience.

The developer of the game has made millions off of the game and instead of increasing the size of the team to expand and give the players a better ghost hunting experience he has stated it is a "passion" project and will not hire more people. It's pretty selfish in my own opinion because all we're doing is degrading the quality of the game. I'm changing my review not recommended because the price does not reflect the quality and state of the game currently.

Recent updates are looking very promising for the future of this game. I will come back and revise this review after the next major update.

Game has its flaws, and I mean it has a ton of them.. but it's still amazing.
